Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Velocity Match #1 - Mark Henry vs. Mike Awesome -Lita Returns to do Commentary- 7:49pm Lita comes out to new music and without a neckbrace to join Mark Lloyd for commentary. Awesome goes straight after Henry when he enters the ring and opens up with shots on Henry's back. Awesome applies the revers chinlock on Henry but he powers out and then knocks Awesome down to the canvus. Both men fight back with power moves and Henry applies a bearhug and then powerslams Awesome to the mat for a 2 count. Henry sends Awesome to the corner but Awesome gets the feet up in Henry's face. Awesome hits a standing legdrop for a 2 count. Awesome climbs the second rope and hits the clothesline for a 2 count. Henry fires back with a knee lift and an overhead drop on Awesome. Awesome goes to the top rope and scores with the Awesome Splash but he only gets a 2 count. Awesome goes for an Awesome Bomb but Henry counters with a backbody drop and then splashes Awesome in the corner. Henry then hits a running powerslam on Awesome to get the 1-2-3. Winner by Pinfall - Mark Henry Lita and Mark Llyod on commentary! This show may be worth watching after all.

Tajiri takes control of most of the match with kicks and a double-arm bar with a knee in the back. Funaki comes back with an enziguri for a 2 count. Funaki counters the Tarantula with a sitout powerbomb. Funaki attempts his double-leg underhook pin but misses. Tajiri drills Funaki in the face and a followup with the Kick of Death to get the 1-2-3. Winner by Pinfall - Tajiri Do Funaki and Awesome job on Velocity every week?

Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Posted August 21, 2002 Report Posted August 21, 2002 Velocitiy Match #3 - Chuck w/Billy, Rico vs. Hardcore Holly Distractions naturally occured in this match by Rico and Billy. Chuck has the early edge in the match with shoulder block attacks on Holly's lower back. Chuck hits a standing suplex and gets a 2 count. Chuck kicks away at Holly, then Holly got Chuck on his shoulders and did a fallback on him. Both men get to their feet and Holly misses a clothesline and gets suplexed, 2 count only. Chuck continues to punish Holly until Holly comes back with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Holly fires back with right hands and chops and Chuck does the same. Holly hits an overhead backbody drop to get a 2 count. Holly hits the trademark dropkick for a 2 count. Chuck comes back with a short-arm powerslam for a 2 count. Holly thwarts a kick attempt and tries for the Alabama Slam but Rico prevents it from happening. Billy comes in and hits the cobraclutch slam on Holly and this allows Chuck to get the 1-2-3. After the match, Holly goes nuts and goes after anybody that moves. Randy Orton comes out and the ring clears out. Orton gets a mic, he challenges Billy and Chuck to take a beating like men. Billy and Chuck and Rico get their butts kicked and tossed out of the ring. Randy Orton and Billy then get called up next for a match. Winner by Pin - Chuck

Billy gets in the ring with Orton. Both men lockup and it goes to the corner and Orton does a clean break but Billy shoves Orton back and vice versa. Billy gains control and takes it to Orton until Orton fires back with some offense until getting knocked outta the ring to the Rico and Chuck who pumble on Orton. Billy applies the reverse chinlock on Orton. Billy mocks Holly with an crotch gesture. Billy gets drilled in the corner turnbuckle. Orton rollsup Billy for a 2 count and clotheslines Billy three times. Orton climbs the ropes and Crossbody's Chuck and Holly gets in the ring to clear Chuck out. As Billy was going for the FameAsser, Holly comes back in and hits the Alabama Slam on Billy to enable Orton to get the 1-2-3. Winner by Pin - Randy Orton

Wow, it's amazing how you can make judgments like that while not even seeing the match! You can read a match finish. From that paragraph, it appears that Chuck needed two people to help him. Angle needed the ropes. So I concluded that Angle ranks slightlly higher than Chuck, but still lower that test on the food chain.

This really got him pissed off at the bazooka operator with absolute passion!. Tony gets the bag of remaining complimentary shirts and just throws them out to the fans. Tony threatens that he don't care if the bazooka is 10,000 and hell break the SOB, and says it was a bunch of F'N BS!!! Most of the crew at ringside really enjoyed it! Tazz gets in the ring and tells Tony that he'll choke him out and told him to sit down. Tazz then played a I'll Name The Wrestler, Fan's Response game with several WWE superstars for SummerSlam. Ok...

Opening In-Ring Segment - Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman 8:43pm Paul talks about a bunch of facts that relates to The Rock in Brock Lesnar's place. Paul goes on to talk about the same facts relating to Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Fans boo him, but Paul says nobody can do anything about it and talks about Hogan's career being over and that the same thing will happen to The Rock at SummerSlam. Paul says Brock has a gift for the fan, by the end of night that Brock and The Rock will collide tonight. Brock gets the mic and tells Paul he feels the same way he did when he took out Hogan and that he's gonna make The Rock cry like a little BI*CH!!!. The Rock's music hits and he comes out with a passion. Rock talks all about Bringing It! and that Brock has brought Nothing!. Rock says tonight will be like no other and repeats it again. Rock says no more brining it or shuves ups candyasses and declares that since Brock isn't gonna bring it, that The Rock is gonna Bring It to Him!!!. The Rock declares that the night is already through and comes to the ring ready to kick ass but Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit come down and attack The Rock like scavengers. Benoit locks in the Crippler Crossface on The Rock and Rock and Brock exchange eye contact during the whole thing. Paul and Brock laugh during the whole thing. *Fade Out* The Rock is getting checked by refs on the ramp but refuses their help and eventually gets to his feet...meanwhile...Brock and Paul are in the ring enjoying every second of it. The Rock is assisted back to the backstage area by the two refs. Paul and Brock then mock the fans and leaves.
