I used to have an Australian girlfriend, and she introduced me to her as "Can't Get You Out of my Head" got big there. My Kyliemania was finally satiated when the album came out in the US. Anyone who was talking to me then knows I began all conversations with saying how many days were left. Needless to say, I snagged it the very day it came out, absolutely jetting to the record store from school. Pretty funny reaction from the guy at the counter, as I was buying the Clinic album also, as if the two albums should explode from being bought at the same time. KYLIE~! rules. Glad to see someone brought this up. Sophie Ellis Bextor, another Australian gem, rules also. I enjoy hearing her voice more than KYLIE~!s, but Kylie has the better all around package, since I like all of her songs(hell, I'd love the sound of her coughing), and only most of Sophie Ellis Bextor's. Get Move this Mountain. I've converted Flyboy into a Sophie fan with this song. But this is about Kylie, my personal goddess. Danke schon Doomsault, for starting this discussion. Now that she's made her American return, I'm interested and entertained, but not going to run out and buy the album. Download the singles though, sho nuff! Pardon my responses that sound like a little fangirl, but I really turn into one when someone brings KYLIE~! into a conversation. Sophie, Abba, and YATTA~! also, for that matter. As for looks, she has the perfect white girl rump. Not that big, but perfectly formed. The MTV UK site had a tribute to her ass. It was great. I can't say i like kylie because i find her pseudo disco to be annoying but i admit that i mark out for bands others would be ashamed such as ABBA. BTW, the way you feel about kylie i now feel about vanessa carlton, i've been transformed into a little fanboy. She's BritPop, so singing ability isn't a requirement. But then, most music genres nowadays don't require you to have singing ability.
