Guest Incandenza Report post Posted August 21, 2002 Well, after spending $168 on a speeding ticket for going 21 miles over the legal limit; after spending $40 at Blockbuster on a take home traffic school video hosted by the terribly unfunny Jeff Altman, and featuring cameos by Jerry Seinfeld, Phil Donahue and featuring early 90s footage of Hulk Hogan cutting a promo on careless drivers, brother; after spending $20 on Fed Ex overnight delivery so that my certificate of completion would get here today--if I didn't get it until tomorrow, it would've meant points on my license and a hiked up insurance rate (yes, I tend to procrastinate)--I am finally free and clear of any responsibility vis-a-vis law breaking actions back on April 23rd. Whoopity-fucking-do. Incandenza Trivia *Wilco's superb album, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, was released on the day I was pulled over by Johnny Law. I was on my way to school, listening to the song "Kamera," when the sirens hit. *I joined the Smart Marks board to the day, one week later. *Sylvia "Emanuelle" Kristal was the first ever recipient of an Incandenza masturbatory fantasy, all the way back in the summer of '92, when I was a mere 13-years-old. Guest The Electrifyer Report post Posted August 22, 2002 I think I saw that driving education tape with Hogan in it at Driving School. I don't care how many celebrities were in that move, it was boring as hell.

Guest Kinetic Report post Posted August 22, 2002 I think the Wilco album has finally surpassed Trail of Dead for my current AOTY. Oh, and try to stay within the bounds of legality when behind the wheel in the future. It makes for a safer driving experience...not just for yourself, but for everyone around you. It feels good to post in this thread knowing that nothing I could say would be any more meaningless than the rest of the posts.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Oh, and try to stay within the bounds of legality when behind the wheel in the future. It makes for a safer driving experience...not just for yourself, but for everyone around you. Good in theory, and often in practice, but not always. There are parts of this country where you'll get your ass rear-ended if you drive at the speed limit. I've been to a few stretches of road where the average speed clocked in at around 20 over. Guest DJ Jeff Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Here in Calgary, if you drive even 5km over the speed limit you'll be pulled over. It's never happened to me, but it's happened to my dad before.
