Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted August 22, 2002 This is from 411, I don't know where they stole from. Warning: This post contains possible spoilers. WWE will be running a Smackdown house show on September 14th in Billings, Montana. The current card is advertising a match between Kane and Kurt Angle, which would seem to indicate that Kane will end up joining the Smackdown brand and start a program with Kurt Angle. Of course, this could also be a swerve. Thanks to 411 reader Terry.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Fueding with Kurt Angle? Shit!
Guest BionicRedneck Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Good. That rules out the posability of a "Brothers Of Destruction" renunion, or even worse another Taker/Kane fued.
Guest converge241 Report post Posted August 22, 2002 i beleive it and its not like it has to come from a reliable source either. Smackdown "needs" a big name wreslter so its just deductive reasoning (of course WWE throws that out the window sometimes). Kane hasnt had a full fledge meda-push since his debut and ending around the deadly game tournament .
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Report post Posted August 22, 2002 I would sit through a 20 minute Test/Kane match if it meant Kurt Angle getting pushed back to the top like he deserves.
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Quick! Lock the doors to this thread before Anglesault gets in here! As for a possible Kane/Angle feud - ugh. Sure, Angle's gotten a good match or 2 out of Kane in the past, but that doesn't mean I want to see a whole feud between the 2. Especially if it means jobbing Kurt to him to build up Kane. Guest RicFlairGlory Report post Posted August 22, 2002 It could also mean that they need Kane to work off some Ring Rust, and having a match against someone he's familiar with (Angle) would be the best way to do it. Why do we get paranoid? As I say every time theres a house show report, stop flipping out everyone, its just a fucking house show!

Guest Smell the ratings!!! Report post Posted August 22, 2002 I would imagine fighting Bull Buchanan is hardly the way to get yourself back in shape.
Guest TestKick Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Angle & Kane had a few very good matches earlier in the year, this feud could be good.
Guest Angle-plex Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Angle & Kane had a few very good matches earlier in the year, this feud could be good. They already had a feud, and who was the one that got rewarded? KANE. He was being pushed as a main eventer on RAW after his feud with Angle, when HE was the one that botched the ending to their match.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Report post Posted August 22, 2002 The matches weren't very good. For Kane's standards, yeah, but they were very slow and plodding. Even Kurt Angle can't disguise the fact that Kane sucks.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Id say its a good thing hes going to Smackdown, but then he'll probably end up on RAW just to have him being on the SD house shows a swerve.
Guest TestKick Report post Posted August 22, 2002 The one match they had on Smackdown was an excellent match that I had at *** They already had a feud, and who was the one that got rewarded? KANE. Who won the blowoff match at WM? Of course, Kane is going to look stronger during the feud... he's the face, and he's much bigger than Angle. Angle came out on top at the end of the feud, and that's what matters.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Report post Posted August 22, 2002 You thought it was an excellent match because you like, boring, slow, hoss wrestlers like Test. You probably had the Test/Kane match from No Mercy at ****.
Guest TestKick Report post Posted August 22, 2002 No, I liked the work both Angle & Kane did. Kane is extremely agile for his size, and he worked a good technical match with Angle. Test/Kane No Mercy did suck, I haven't watched it lately, but it's not the "Worst Match Ever" like some people think it is.
Guest The Ruthless Aggressor Report post Posted August 22, 2002 It may not be the worst match ever, but it was certainly up there.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Angle & Kane had a few very good matches earlier in the year, this feud could be good. They already had a feud... I don't necessarily have a problem with Kane himself, but I think since the feud was just a few months ago, and wasn't even a really big thing, that it's not worth redoing. However, it is just a house show (although it's interesting that RicFlairGlory has to remind some of us how trivial a house show is when he gets upset over something even more trivial - when we make RAW threads a day early, but that's off-topic), and since it's in Montana, and it's well known that nobody lives in Montana, they can do whatever they want there, since with nobody watching it, it will be even less important in the scheme of things than the average house show, which, you'll remember, still means absolutely nothing
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted August 22, 2002 renmember the Jericho Kane feud spilt coffee
Guest takapac Report post Posted August 22, 2002 Speaking of Jericho, if Smackdown is the workrate show, why wasn't he kept there, thus avoiding the need to send a name/sports entertainer (Kane) back over?

When I nitpick, its because I dont want to have to guess between three threads, which is the one we're supposed to post in? (Cant anybody LOOK before they start one?). When everybody here conspiracy theorizes over the card on a house show, its completely different. Its a topic of conversation, and not a gripe with convenience and ease in posting. Oh, I agree with you fully on the conspiracy theorists behalf, and on the multiple "one and only" threads. I just thought it was interesting is all... Anyway, back to Kane, has an official return date been announced yet?
