Dashboard Confessionals is coming to a local venue. Tickets are only like 10 or 15 bucks and a few of my friends are thinking of going. Should I go or not?

while booing them might be a good idea... they have already made their money off your ticket.. so booing might not mean anything to them

I'd consider going. It isn't too often I'm the most masculine person in the room.

Well, I suppose the question to ask is "Do you like their music?"

Although I'm supposing that since you started a thread about it, you're unfamiliar with it.

I personally would go in a heartbeat, and have already seen Dashboard twice in concert this year, and the show where they were the headlining band completely rocked MY world, at least. The other one was them opening for Weezer, and the jaded Weezer fans were pretty apathetic towards Dashboard, so it kinda hurt things. Plus the fact that it was an ampitheater instead of an intimate small building.

So count my vote in as "Yes, go", unless you really dislike emo. The crowd will be electric, though, trust me. I found it incredibly cathartic, you may find it to be "a bunch of whiny girls and wussy guys", I don't really know.

Now that Sebastian and I have both voted, I doubt you'll get too many more genuinely positive responses. :D

I've heard that Dashboard is prety good in concert. A friend of mine claims that their Unplugged performance was better than Nirvana's.......

but he's also in the school marching band, has no job, girlfriend, or social life......
