Rob E Dangerously 0 Report post Posted August 23, 2002 Since the last man to go over on a show usually uses the PPV match.. here are the results for the PPV Chris Jericho over Ric Flair Eddy Guerrero over Edge Goldust and Booker T over Lance Storm and Christian Undertaker over Test Kurt Angle over Rey Mysterio Jr RVD over Benoit (no idea why.. they haven't done much together.. just a sense, the hardest match to pick on the card) HBK over Triple H (HBK will not lose here.. I just sense it.. unless they wanna try and push HHH more with his win) Brock Lesnar over The Rock Just watch me get all of these right..
Guest thebigjig Report post Posted August 23, 2002 I see Benoit going over RVD and retaining the title because it keeps the title situation balanced
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted August 23, 2002 I agree with everything except i see Benoit retaining the IC belt.

Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Report post Posted August 23, 2002 Rock's going over, everyone thought Lex was getting the title at SS 93 and he didn't. And he was more over than Brock is now. Samoans win at SummerSlam.
Guest jester Report post Posted August 23, 2002 Am I the only one who thinks the WWE will trick us and put Rock over? I can't figure out what they're doing with Brock. Tonight he got beaten on and shoved out of the ring by someone who already supposedly had an injury and had just wrestled a match. I just don't buy him as a strong heel challenger. It doesn't make sense that he'll beat the Rock, unless he gets five other heels to beat him down.

Then he can some time off to film his movie or whatever.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted August 23, 2002 The time for denial is over... Brock Lesnar is winning the WWE title at SummerSlam. The only match I think will end differently than the original post is Benoit retaining. That doesn't mean he has to win...since they have the potential MOTYC there...they'll probably end it in a DQ to help neither guy. HBK is going over. Which speaks volumes about who HHH will put over. Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted August 23, 2002 Am I the only one who thinks the WWE will trick us and put Rock over? I can see Rock retaining at SS and then losing on a Raw or Smackdown to either Brock or someone else. I still think Brock will win the belt at Summerslam, but a Rock victory wouldn't be out of the question, and i'd probably prefer it if the Rock retains the undisputed title. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted August 23, 2002 I have a cool idea that would make everyone happy for a while. Rock wins by DQ over Brock when Brock goes ballistic on the Rock with a chair. Fast Forward to RAW - Rock is *too hurt* to defend the title - hes in the hospital with 18 concussions, internal bleeding, broken bones and amnesia or something. So the Rock is stripped of the title and we have a a 16 man tourney for the title, 8 from RAW and 8 From Smackdown with the final four meeting at the next PPV, Unforgiven.. That way, Rock can go away, and Brock doesn't have to outright win the title right yet, although you know he would be in the finals against someone from Smackdown (Probably Hogan or Angle??). If the tourney finals would be Raw v. Smackdown, then this wouldn't work, because Brock is a SD! competitor. Jason
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted August 23, 2002 oh well...uh..hmm Id have Brock vs Angle as the Smackdown vs Smackdown match of the PPV then, and RVD vs Taker as the other RAW vs RAW match at the PPV.

Guest pochorenella Report post Posted August 23, 2002 Rock wins by DQ over Brock when Brock goes ballistic on the Rock with a chair. Fast Forward to RAW - Rock is *too hurt* to defend the title I was actually thinking about something just like that. I mean, it's not like Rock has to leave IMMEDIATELY after SS to go and film his movie, right? He may still have a couple of weeks of WWE TV left, so he could retain at SS (maybe Heyman's interference backfiring?) or win/lose by DQ, but just like Marvin says, he could be really injured or something, but being that he's too proud or foolish or whatever, he still wrestles on RAW (against RVD?)/Smackdown (anaginst Angle?) and loses the Title because of his injuries. Brock still would have beaten him pretty badly, causing him to be not in shape for any Title defense. But I still like the idea of the Title Turney, though. And Brock has never been IC champion even! Who was the last guy aside from the Undertaker who's won the Title without being IC champ first? Think about it.

Guest Brian Report post Posted August 23, 2002 Stripping the title is not going to help anyone in the long run. Tey need someone to go over solidly, and it has to be Brock. There is no way back.

Think about it. Big Show Mick Foley Kane Sid Yokozuna Ric Flair Sgt. Slaughter Hulk Hogan quite a few actually Ok, I messed up. But in my defense, most of them had some previous accomplishments, so they weren't completely green like Brock is. The IC Title is an almost obligatory step toward the WWE Title. Guest notJames Report post Posted August 23, 2002 Along with Benoit retaining and HHH beating HBK, I don't think the Hollywood Suckas are gonna get the belts. The UnAmericans need to be chased to sustain whatever heat they have. It worked for Chuckabilly. And besides, Booker T is so over that he doesn't need the tag belts. Besides, he's already a 23 bajillion-time tag champ, right?
