Guest Youth N Asia Posted August 23, 2002 Report Posted August 23, 2002 in the early 90s in WCW there was this Japanese guy who use Nerve holds as finishers...would make guys pass out and get wins and not release the holds...you know the deal Who the hell was this!!!!!! I remember him doing the move on 2 Cold and "hurting" him with it...can't picture him or anything though. Smarks...help
Guest pete Posted August 23, 2002 Report Posted August 23, 2002 I am thinking it was Yoshi Kwan or maybe Kurasawa.
Guest MasterMadness Posted August 23, 2002 Report Posted August 23, 2002 It would have been Yoshi Kwan. A horrible gimmick for a horrible wrestler, Chris Champion. He had 1 PPV match in the early 90's with Cactus Jack.
Guest Retro Rob Posted August 23, 2002 Report Posted August 23, 2002 Yeah, Yoshi Kwan. I think Kurasawa came in around 94-95.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted August 23, 2002 Report Posted August 23, 2002 Thanks I was thinking the guy's name was Kwang...but I knew that was WWF...I can rest easy now
Guest Bloodice Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 No it was yoshi kwan aka Chris Champion of the new breed in the late 80's of the nwa kuraswa was NOT yoshi kwan
Guest the 1inch punch Posted August 24, 2002 Report Posted August 24, 2002 Whats the sound of 3000lbs of shit hitting the fan KWANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest Bloodice Posted August 27, 2002 Report Posted August 27, 2002 Kurasawa was a wcw mid carder in the early 90's managed by Robert Fuller aka Col. Parker and now wrestles for new japan. He had promise in a feud against sting and road warrior hawk but never got over or used right and ended up back in new japan.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted August 27, 2002 Report Posted August 27, 2002 Weren't they pushing Kurasawa by having him break Hawk's arm in a tag match at the summer '95 Clash that had the Arn/Flair vs. Vader handicap match. I seem to remember Meng/Kurasawa vs. Sting/Hawk opened that show.
Guest pete Posted August 27, 2002 Report Posted August 27, 2002 Yeah he did injure Hawks arm. They also put him over Hawk at some Pay perview. I want to say Fall Brawl.
Guest The Hollywood Fashion Plate Posted August 27, 2002 Report Posted August 27, 2002 Kurasawa beat Hawk at Halloween Havoc '95.
Guest pete Posted August 27, 2002 Report Posted August 27, 2002 You are correct sir. At the time that happened I was shocked by that finish.
