As many of you know, Angle's win over Mark FUCKING Henry two weeks ago was his first win since the backslide win over Cena, and his first definitive win all summer. The rest of the time, they have jobbed him out unmercifully, leading to a 11-17 record since Mania. Where do YOU see this going?

I voted "pretend the fans won't realize."

EDIT: BTW, Sault, that may be your best banner yet.

I don't think it's a 'Angle Never wins' storyline.

Angle just never wins. Which of course means he'll be world champion before the end of the year.

I am going to try to stay positive about this 'Sault and say that eventually he'll bounce back and win a series of matches. I even think he'll wear the undisputed strap at least one more time between now and WM. Whether he headlines WM next year (which he should) is a whole nother ball game. But I wouldn't mind seeing him win the strap around October or November and give him a run until at least RR, if not longer. Of course that's just what I would do and I'm not a huge Angle mark. I just try to recognize what would be best for business.

I voted this because that seems to be what's happening.

He is losing all the time, but the casual fan really doesn't realize that he is always losing.

That's part of what makes Angle so damn good.

WWE.com is always like DISASTER STRIKES AGAIN~! everytime Angle lsoes inside the SD! report. Cole and Tazz are probably just too stupid to mention it.

He wont win a huge streak of matches, but he's going to win a lot more than he has the past 5 months or so. He'll be on the up and down path, and after Survivor Series, he'll begin to win a lot of matches leading up to Wrestlemania of next year. My bet is that Brock jobs to a heel Triple H at Survivor Series (Brock turns on Heyman becoming a face), then Angle beats Triple H (CLEANLY~!) at Wrestlemania, becoming the next Bret Hart and leading the WWE through tough times. Oh, and for Angle's feud/top opponent for the future years (a la Hart/Michaes, Rock/Austin)? RVD (Who I think is the next HBK) is going to be the other top man to Angle.

I think if he DOES do the Olympics, The suicide angle is the ebst way to go, BTW, Otherwise, he'll just be laid out by test or something.

I hope he doesn't go to the olympics. He has nothing to gain and everything to lose. What if he loses? Do you really think Vince would let him back in the WWE? And if he did, he couldn't do his "I'm good because I won a gold medal" gimmick anymore.

Although, if he stays, he may look even worse.

He'll probably just keep losing, before winning the Undisputed Title in time to lose it to Edge at Wrestlemania.

I actually just took it as a given that he was going to leave at the end of the year to train for the Olympics, but you're right, AP, in that he really doesn't have anything to gain from winning the Olympics again. However, if he DOESN'T leave to train for the Olympics, if he was feuding with someone and said how good he was for his gold medals, they could turn around and say he was too chicken to "put 'em on the line" by re-entering the Olympics again. Hmmm... interesting dilemma.
