Thanks for reading this, I've been thinking about it for awhile and decided it would KICK ASS. Let's pretend everything that happened in Jan. and Feb. happened, without the nWo. Jericho pinned Austin at No Way Out by reversing a Stunner and pushing Austin into the exposed turnbuckle, Breakdown, pin. I'll pick up with Wrestlemania. BTW, screw the roster split, I won't bother.

Wrestlemania x-8

*All the matches are the same, with the exception of one: The Rock pins Steve Austin in the main event, finally winning "the big one."

*Before that, Jericho pinned Triple H to retain the Undisputed Title. The finish was actually part of the real match, where HHH pedigrees Steph, and Jericho NAILS him with a chairshot for the pin.

Before Backlash, Flair calls 6 men to the ring: Austin, HHH, Taker, Rock, Angle, and RVD (IC Champion). They'll fight in a 6-pack elimination match to determine the number #1 contenderS. You see, The 2 survivors will go on to fight Jericho in a triple threat match at Backlash. Order of Elimination: Austin, HHH, RVD, Angle(Eddy makes his return here, Frogsplashing RVD to give Taker the pin). Of course, Rock and Taker have unfinished business from No Way Out.

Backlash

*Earlier in the show, RVD pinned Eddy to retain the IC Title

*In the main event, Undertaker pinned The Rock in 19:43 of a Triple Threat Match, including Champion Chris Jericho, to win the Undisputed Title. Match features segments of Jericho/Taker, Rock/Taker, and Jericho/Rock, and some three-way stuff. Rock Bottom on Jericho, but Rock walks into a Chokeslam for the pin. This gives him time off for movies or whatever.

Before Judgment Day, Jericho complains that he wasn't pinned to lose the title. Flair lets him fight RVD tonight to determine the #1 contender for Judgment Day. RVD wins by reversing the WOJ into a rollup. Next week, Eddy beats RVD to win the IC title after Taker cost RVD the match.

Judgment Day

*RVD/Taker is No Holds Barred, to spice it up. Taker gets the win to retain at 22:10 after reversing an RVD top rope heel kick into the Last Ride for the pin.

King of the Ring

*Rob Van Dam wins the KOTR Tournament, defeating Brock in the Finals, despite Undertaker interference. He reverses the F5 into a DDT and hits the ***** for the pin.

*Undertaker pins HHH in 15:42 to retain the title after RVD accidently hit HHH with the Van Daminator (Taker ducked), and Taker hit a Last Ride.

Vengeance

*In a #1 contenders match for Summerslam, RVD pinned HHH with the ***** () in 14:31. HHH challenged RVD after he cost him the match at KOTR.

*Undertaker pinned Kurt Angle in 18:51 to retain the Undisputed Title with the Last Ride. Heel/Heel match, but Undertaker was more of a tweener leading up to the show.

And here's the big one, Summerslam.

Summerslam

*Rob Van Dam pins The Undertaker in 25:38 to win the Undisputed Title after a ***** Frog Splash. Undertaker raised RVD's hand and "passed the torch."

That's right, it wasn't likely to happen but hey, that's how *I* would have wanted it.

Feedback much appreciated.

I liked your ideas but where are Angle (God #1) and Benoit (God #2)?

Yes I know, it was hard, but I wanted to build a long Taker/RVD feud, but I would probably keep them in the Upper Card. If I continue doing this, my plan was to have Benoit beat RVD for the title at Survivor Series. Angle probably would've gotten a title shot at No Mercy, or I would've had a 2 month feud for them (Sept-Oct)
