Sharpe nods at the camera, acknowledging it. Sharpe gets out of the chair and glances at the pool table for a moment.] Leon Sharpe: Ya know.. I paid for this with the money I got from wrestling. I don’t play pool, still.. I figure somebody wants to. If they happen to be here, then they will play it. It works. [sharpe picks up a can of something and drinks it.] Leon Sharpe: Hello, I am Leon Sharpe. I have come here to this league, the SJL, for one reason. The money. [sharpe laughs] Leon Sharpe: Don’t get the wrong impression or nothing. But, I feel that the more money I get, the better off I will be whenever I decide to retire, or if I tear my leg up after doing a big boot. It’s simple. [sharpe drinks some more stuff out of his can.] Leon Sharpe: Now, this is where you, the SJL fans, come in. You see, I need your support for one good reason. If you buy my stuff, then I get some money from it. Therefore, if you buy any of my t-shirts, then you are helping me work to get the stuff that I want to buy, but can’t. [sharpe nods.] Leon Sharpe: You see, I might have the money to get a lot of stuff myself, but I don’t just have the money to blow on some swords and all that stuff right now. I still have to pay bills. Therefore, if you buy any of my future t-shirts from some street vendor, kick your own ass, because you just robbed me of money. After you kick your own ass, tell me that you did and tell me who you bought it from, so I can kick their ass, then I will kick your ass as well before I take the 15 bucks that were robbed from me. Sorry, it’s tough sometimes. I don’t hate you fans, I just hate the ones who rob me of money or refuse to buy my stuff. [sharpe pauses for a moment.] Leon Sharpe: I understand from what I have heard that I am facing a man named Blank. Well, I don’t know about you yet, since you are also debuting. But, from what I hear about your height and weight, I should be tossing you around the ring. So, don’t be surprised when I do that. Okay? I do better against those who have admitted that I will beat him silly. It reduces my feeling of guilt and that is a good thing. Anyways Blank.. you are facing me in Detroit.. actually, it’s one of those damn suburbs. Still, you’re facing me on my turf and I will have to have to defeat you on this Tuesday. Because, winning matches gets me more money. Not to mention that you sound like a skinny skateboarding karate wuss, and I can’t just lose to those kinds of guys. How am I supposed to get money on the side for various committments if I am defeated by some guy who skates around public parks? I don’t know, but it’s hard. [sharpe drinks some more.] Leon Sharpe: Blank.. this isn’t Match Game, I don’t have to fill in the blank or any of that. I know that I am really big and you skate down steps and all that stuff. Therefore, I will beat you so bad, it would look like you jumped down the stairs on your board and fell face first into the concrete. Hell son, remember this.. if I was a bad person, I’d hit your over the head with that stupid skateboard, but I’m not a bad person. You know why? Because you will be getting my t-shirts when they come out. I figure that you can use it to wipe your face off the mat in the future. [sharpe laughs] Leon Sharpe: First it’s Blank.. who’s gonna face me next.. I don’t know.. but you better prepare the EMTs, because I’m a dangerous person, and I don’t care much for many rules, just winning. That is no laughing matter. A fresh promo from a fresh wrestler, I think the JL might be starting to be a bit better off. Could use some polish, but who couldn't their first time? It's fantastic to see someone putting effort into the fed before they've even written their first match. And maybe it's just me, but I like the take on the character. "I'm doing this for the money. I'm going to kick your ass. Now be a good boy and buy a T-Shirt." Heh.
