Guest BA_Baracus Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Okay...here we go. Say whatever you want about the state of the fed here. If you've got a problem here's where you post it. Of course just like in real life, I can't garauntee what kind of impact it will actually have. Oh...and this is not a place to air personal grievances. Ie...this is not the place to complain about someone writing you poorly, saying something mean in chat, being booked in a match you don't like or whatever. That's what PMs are for. Oh...and of course, try to keep arguing to a minimum.
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 While this does need to happen, considering the states going on... We do need to get this PPV finished. So please, whatever opinion anyone has, don't let it affect your match.
Guest Muzz Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Stubby, who was the girl in your Avatar? Bloody Renegade, beating me senseless in my match. :/
Guest Tod deKindes Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Opinion pertaining to any subject in the whole SWF conglomerate? Ok. I don't like Cutthroat. What?
Guest Kibagami Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 "Oh...and this is not a place to air personal grievances." Tod. You. Are useless. As is that smiley. Anyway...right. I'm sure this has been brought up/discussed before, but with college starting next week and work making my weekends very very busy, is it possible we could make some changes to the writing schedule? The card is usually posted early Saturday morning, effectively giving us two days to write for Storm. It kicks my ass every week, and with schoolwork soon taking up more of my time, I'm probably going to have to ask not to be booked for shows over the weekend. Is it possible we could knock a day off of the Smarkdown schedule, make it due Thursday? 4 days/3 days seems a lot less intense than 5 days/2 days. Then again, I'm sure there are reasons for the schedule we have now, so...do with this what you will. S.
Guest Ace309 Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 I wouldn't terribly mind a Monday/Thursday or a Tuesday/Friday schedule for the WF, either. It's a hell of a lot better than the 8-day rotation the JL's on, anyway.
Guest Tod deKindes Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 this is not a place to air personal grievances. Musta glossed over that. Sorry, oh almighty Silent. That obviously seemed to have disturbed you, what I did.
Guest Kibagami Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 Getting...so angry...must control...no-sell...of doom... S.
Guest BA_Baracus Posted August 25, 2002 Report Posted August 25, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "It was Ayumi Hamasaki Sacred. As soon as I started using it, the ugliness began so I've determined that she was in fact...evil. So the chairman of the board has stepped in to take her place. One thing I always tried to do was make word limits lower for Smarkdown, so maybe we could make a better effort to do that. Mothernature says ring a ding ding..."
Rob E Dangerously Posted August 26, 2002 Report Posted August 26, 2002 I liked Stubby's old avatar.. the one with the woman in it
Guest Thoth Posted August 26, 2002 Report Posted August 26, 2002 It's Ayumi Hayasaki. And she is NOT evil. "Duty" is an awesome song.
Guest HVilleThugg Posted August 26, 2002 Report Posted August 26, 2002 Hmmmm... I'll not that Stubby and start making the word limits shorter for Smarkdown. Since SD is the only show I book, sometimes I get carried away and forget that people only have 2 days to write for it. I have another suggestion...this one for the markers. It would probably give people more time to write for SD (and save me some sleep) if I could get Storm up and the SD card up earlier. Maybe we hold back on so many extensions so that the matches get to me a little sooner so the show and card can be earlier. And I guess we could do this for Storm too...cause I know i"m guilty of late marking too. but yeah, just an idea to give people more time for SD Da "ok, back to doing this again" H
Guest Coffin Surfer Posted August 26, 2002 Report Posted August 26, 2002 Hell Yes! Getting the cards and the shows up a lot earlier would rule so much. At least by 1:00 a.m. Eastern time would be awesome. I don't quite know the process that y'all use to post shows or how long it takes for people form different time zones to get matches in, but I'am sure it's a little late for everyone. Speaking of which, any idea when tonight's show is going to be up? I'am a few minutes away from going to bed.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted August 26, 2002 Report Posted August 26, 2002 It takes a while cause marking matches, particularly looooong ones, takes a helluva lot of time. But Danny, I'd suggest that maybe you just hit the hay--last PPV was up very early, uncharacteristically early, as they're usually up around 2 AM eastern or so by my watch.
Guest Suicide King Posted August 26, 2002 Report Posted August 26, 2002 My opinion is that I am the greatest of all time. Yes, even better than GOAT. Booyah.
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Posted August 26, 2002 Report Posted August 26, 2002 You all want my fucking opinion? Where the fuck is Apocalypse!
Guest Muzz Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Where's all the bitching and whining? We had plenty of those threads before... Master stroke Stubby, now no one will defy your authority.
Guest redbaron51 Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 i have some complaining... how come only certain people like main eventers get tons of feedback, but the likes of curtain jerkers *cough*me*cough* get no feedback at all, and this does not help people like us improve... ya ungrateful bastards
Guest Divefire Posted September 25, 2002 Report Posted September 25, 2002 Just a thought. Looking over the G3 card it's clear to see how awsome it's looking. But I can't help but feel it's a month to late. For those in school and college it's just the wrong time of the year to be building to the biggest show of the year. So how about for G4 next year we move it up a month to the end of August and really blow the roof off this place?
Guest HVilleThugg Posted September 25, 2002 Report Posted September 25, 2002 Hmmmm...I might tend to agree, except that the PPV is supposed to commemorate our first monthly PPV ever. I wouldn't be opposed to having it a month earlier so that more people can give it the time they want. Da "hmmmm...makes you think" H
Guest HVilleThugg Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Top of the forum cluttered with pinned topics. No one has an opinion right now...so,I've unpinned this topic. If you have an opinion you'd like to post, get off your lazy ass and search for this topic. Da "doinging his modly duties" H
Guest Tod deKindes Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 If you want my opinion, I'm not too fond of blueberry muffins.
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Tod's right. Lemon poppy is where it's at.
Guest HVilleThugg Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 You're both wrong...muffins are gross in general! It's all about croissants! Da "hellz yeah!" H
Guest Ace309 Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Please, please. Scones all around.
Guest HVilleThugg Posted October 28, 2002 Report Posted October 28, 2002 Oh Cast....you're just mad cause I'm about to win my 5th straight after Thrash gets out against the Giants tonight....despite not having a single favorable match up. You suck, and I'm coming for you. Da "talkin' big shit" H
Guest CED Ordonez Posted October 29, 2002 Report Posted October 29, 2002 Damn, I so want a breakfast croissant-wich right now. Sure it's the almost 6 PM, but really want one despite the fact. And somebody should film the Ultimate Warrior rolling down a really steep hill in a monster truck tire so we can repeatedly watch the footage to his theme music. For some reason, that sounds really hilarious to me right now. -The "Nothing Better to Do with His Time" Cedman
Guest Chuck Woolery Posted October 29, 2002 Report Posted October 29, 2002 Don't get a croissant-wich from Dunkin Donuts. I ate one there and got sick from the bacon. The moral of the story? It's called Dunkin' Donuts for a reason.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Posted October 29, 2002 Report Posted October 29, 2002 ...because we GO NUTS FOR DO-NUTS. ZING. ...That's MY opinion.
