Guest gthureson Report post Posted August 25, 2002 I'd write if I could find someone to draw. Can't draw worth crap. Not really in the right town for that though. One business university and one science university means not many artsy types.

Jim Shooter was writing Legion of Super-Heroes for DC when he was a teenager, so it's really never too early to start. It's a learn-as-you-go-along kind of skill. Guest MaskedWombat Report post Posted August 29, 2002 there are probably books on how to write for comics. if you want just send me a pm, and i could send you a plot to an old dp to see how one is written. and i want to put it on the record: inking is not tracing, there is alot more then just going over the pencils with a brush (or a special pen). Guest Marshall Report post Posted August 30, 2002 I have a comic script which needs an artist. Its a sort of comedy that gets really wierd. Thats all I can say, but I've been told that its good. I dont know what am going to do with it if it ever gets made, I need the right arstist first. Then I'd either take to Diamond Distributors or put it on the web. If any good artists are interested then let me know.
Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted September 1, 2002 Jim Shooter was 13 years old when he handed in his script to DC for Adventure Comics #346. It was the issue where Karate Kid, Ferro Lad and Projectra made their 1st apperances in the DCU. The rest is history, as they say.
