A couple tapes I was considering.

Well I'm done with the two J Cups, and I decided I like the style, and would love to own some other full cards with a mix of bad and good, I'm not really wanting to spend alot of money to track down a few good maths. I'm a broke ass sucka, folks. So I decided I would try out some "Best Of" style tapes. I'll list the matches etc. so maybe somebody can give me the lowdown on if the comps are any good, and if any of them really suck.

Those were the tapes I was mostly looking at. I'm pretty set on getting the Ohtani tape, but the others are big question marks for me. Suggestions are welcome, also. Thanks for the help.

Get that Ohtani tape ASAP

 

The matches on the Dragon tape look good for title lineage, I can vouch for the Samaurai match and the 1/4/97 match as great but that's it.

 

The Lyger tape looks like a waste, it doesn't feature any of his best matches aside from Sasuke in the first J-Cup.

 

Some suggestions if you like the NJ Jr style:

If your an Ohtani fan then without question pick up Airforce Wars (chronicles Lyger and co. vs Ohtani and co.)

I agree with all of Black Tigers picks. The J-Crown 96 is awesome. J-Cup 95 is great. You have Benoit,Guerrero,Malenko,Ohtani,Kanemoto, and Samurai. That tape is way awesome. J- cup 93 ain't bad. The Benoit/Samurai final is off the charts.

LOL, I ordered the Best of Liger comp and Shinjo Ohtani: Premium Issue and should receive it this week maybe even today. For my second order from GB tapes I ordered the J-Crown '96 and the Michinoku pro comp which looks great as I have heard alot about Michinoku Pro around '96.

 

The only experience I have had with juniors is Super J '94 after mainly watching AJ so I'm looking forward to seeing them more.

 

BTW, I have never seen Michinoku Pro so what should I expect? I know it is high flying and fast paced, is there any psychology I should lookout for? Here is the match list. I think match #8 is from "These Days."
