After Summerslam went off the air

Just got back from Nassau Coliseum and an awesome SummerSlam.

After the show, Rocky stumbled to his feet...

Rock: Finally the...

Crowd: ROCKY SUCKS!

Rock: Finally the...

Crowd: ROCKY SUCKS!

Rock: Finally the Rock has... .

Crowd: ROCKY SUCKS!

At this point he just told the crowd "it doesn't MATTER where the Rock has come back to!" and that "he was STILL the People's Champion" but "Sing along with the Rock is now over."

AWESOME. He was legitimately p*****, and we NYers loved every minute of it. Total heel promo to close the show, and we ate it up.

yep, just got back. the crowd ate him up, and every, "finally" was angrier than the 1st.

the crowd there changed so much. at times they said "rocky sucks" but at other times they said "lesnar sucks"

Hmm. God forbid that on this next little hiatus of his, the Rock decides he doesn't wanna wrassle any more.

Seriously, after this movie comes out, make the Rock heel. It'll make him fresh and he does a good job of it.

When was the last time Rock was officially a heel?

And I miss the $500 shirts.

Rock's face turn happened shortly after Backlash '99, if I'm not mistaken. He's been the recipient of more mixed (and sometimes downright hostile) reactions at major shows than any other main event face EVER since then, though. I don't even understand this one. But, yeah...heel Rock is awesome and it'd be great to see him play a character similar to that again.

This reminded me of when Rock teased a heel turn the night after Wrestlemania, but wimped out.

Hopefully this will be followed on, a heel Rocky was a favourite of mine

The Rock is off to Hollywood, so we'll have to wait 4 months, maybe even more, for a heel turn by the Rock.

Bring back the huge sideburns!

I think it could happen where he would get pissed at the fans and say that Hollywood's a better place anyways then come back and wrestle people and kick people's asses because he knows the fans hate it.

Heheheh

"You spilled soda on The Rock's shoe! Those cost $600!"

Yeah, a heel Rock would be cool, especially if they brought in one man to deal with him around Wrestlemania...

Steve Austin.

Rock won't turn heel unless he's getting booed out of the building every single night. He'll want to stay face to help his movie career.

Rock should become Mr. Hollywood...like "Hollywood" Chris Kanyon.

In all honesty the WWE needs to address that Rock is getting booed in big time main events. I understood it when he got booed at X-7 cause Austin was in his home state. I even understood when he got booed at V-8 cause of the nostalgia factor with Hogan. But to get booed in favor of Brock (who I don't hate by the way) is a concern for me. WWE doesn't need to address it right now because Rock will soon be off to film Helldorado and King Kamehameha shortly thereafter. But there is something up with Rock's character. I know Rock will be oppposed to turning heel because it can hurt his success at the box office. I really don't know what they plan on doing about him, but something needs to be done.

I don't get this. I may not have ever liked The Rock, but I've always respected him as a "company man". Do you really think he'd react like this? Does it really matter if a wrestler is "heel" or not, in regards to something not related to wrestling? Would it not get promoted as much if he were heel? I think if he had a "Hollywood"/cocky type character I think it would, especially if they had "Paid for by your favorite movie star, The Rock!" or something like that.

I know I didn't pay to see Scorpion King because Rock was face... would it really hurt his box office numbers?
