Best Incarnation of the 4 Horsemen

Recommended Posts

Guest TheZsaszHorsemen

Mine's gotta be

Ric Flair

Arn Anderson

Tully Blanchard

Barry Windham

The most dominant heel stable ever. Although the brief babyface incarnation of Flair, Arn, Ole and Sting is a fav. for sentimental reasons.

Benoit, Malenko, Jarret, Flair was ok at the time, I refuse to recognize Mongo and his little doggie.

as for my all time favorite it has to be:

Flair

Arn

Tully

JJ Dillion

Flair, Arn, Ole, and Tully. Close second would be a tie with Lex and Barry over Ole. I just loved the Old School horsemen. Beatdowns and punkouts almost weekly.

Ric/Arn/Tully/Windham. Guys, Ole Anderson was a dumbshit...the only person in the business that likes Ole Anderson is Ole Anderson.

I like the first one because of the beatings they gave Dusty and Ricky Morton. EVERYTHING the nWo and Corporation did they stole from the first Horsemen.

I'm gonna go with Flair, Anderson, Pillman, Benoit.

I'm with you on this one. While I dig the old-school Horsemen a lot, this incarnation is my favorite, especially since it started Pillman's Loose Cannon era.

King kamala, i like the sid-arn-flair-windham carnation as well.

but my fave has to be flair, arn, tully, windham.

my all time dream horsemen would be

Flair

Arn and Malenko (as the tag team)

and either Benoit or Pillman, i say or Pillman because of the edge he would bring, but id probably go Benoit if i had to chose.

the all time horseass men:

Mongo

Ole Anderson

Paul Roma

Sting (i mean he should just not be in there!)

It's funny that you say that, because I distinctly remember him wearing a T-shirt that said "damn I'm good" during some interviews. I guess he was just being honest.

Tully and Arn have both said shoot interviews that the fourth guy never mattered. It was the core three plus 1. I liked the Ole version better only because the beat downs. Hell here is my site about the Horsemen from 1985-1990. Read up about when they were great. http://antrocka.netfirms.com

I'd say the Benoit/Pillman version as well, since I really wasn't watching NWA/WCW prior to 93 and can't judge any versions other than this one, the Roma version, or the Mongo version (yes, I know that Malenko joined, but by then, I was boycotting WCW).

Barry Windham, Arn, Flair and Sid, so sue me I liked this combo

I'll agree. Sure, Arn didn't have Tully for his partner, but Sid's run as the scary YOUNG monster here clicked for me. This had to be the most intimidating Horsemen combo assembled, while Arn and Windham kept the workrate awesome to make it a typical Horsemen stable.

Flair, Benoit, Malenko and Mongo (Jarrett). Reason I liked this version is because Jarrett was the unofficial member at the time and since Mongo was in the group I had to include him, GRRRRR........
