Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted August 26, 2002 Seriously he's probably the No.1 or No.2 face in the company right now. At BW3s everyone was into him and was rooting hard for them. Then Test comes in and we just lost the energy level till HBK came out. So why does the WWE go to great measures to not push him. Why has he not held any titles this year. I hate this stupid if your not WWE created you can't be pushed. I mean just look at the fact that Brock Lesnar and Edge are getting the hard pushes even though guys like Benoit, RVD and Booker T get better reactions. I figure they can't ignore it forever. I'd say RVD, Benoit, and Booker have all been pushed more than Edge has recently. And hell, if RVD's range of long term selling is what we saw last night, then fuck him. Guest Mad Dog Report post Posted August 26, 2002 Edge has seemed, to me at least, to be heading in a more forward direction than Benoit, Booker T or RVD. RVD and Benoit are fighting over the I.C. Title while Booker T isn't in contention for anything. Edge was tag champs with Hogan and he's tag teamed with the Rock a lot. He also had a high profile program with Kurt Angle earlier in the year. Benoit had a little thing going with Rock for two weeks...but that's done. and he lost his midcard belt back to RVD... because God Forbid we ever forget that RVD is a midcarder. Test costing them the match pissed people off even more. But no one even watched the Benoit/RVD match b/c they were pissed about it. Things picked back up when HBK finally came out. Even when he's already jobbed to half the roster already? Fwah... And what about the team-ups with Hogan and Rock? I could have sworn that Edge and Hogan were tag champs, therefore they HAD to have lost the belts before splitting off, so that kills that bit. The whole Rock thing? Sounds a lot like what Angle was doing last year before/after the heel turn and joining the Alliance in as he's just the main eventer's bootlick, so there's a negative on that one, too. Besides, I only remember him teaming up with Rock once and that was last week which used the finish to pimp Eddy/Edge "feud" for the PPV, big deal. Edge is the only one lately who has gone over a main eventer recently(Angle), but wait Angle is now jerking the curtain at Summerslam so it doesn't matter HHH oops Steph never said that. Heck the way they book Angle like a buffoon sometimes he's not treated like a real threat. That is until he steps through the ropes and then he is.
