I hated how they tried to make it all Sports Entertainment-ish.

 

Did the Japanese one stop producing episodes? I only know that Morimoto moved on and now has a restaurant in Philly.

Having never seen the original Iron Chef, I couldn't really compare the UPN version to anything. I thought Shatner hamming it up was amusing.

Most likely the Miller one (I don't think there was a Smith Vol. 2). You're going to get the hardcover of this? It IS available in TPB (and it's damn good).

There isn't a Kevin Smith Daredevil Visionaries vol. 2, the first one covered his entire eight-issue run.

 

Hey MrZsasz, I have the original Marvel TPB called "Elektra" from years back, which covered a lot of ground from her original DD storyline (the reprint is focused mainly on her, so other plots like DD finding the Kingpin's wife are missing here). Would you recommend I still get the Frank Miller's Visionaries vol. 2? It's a somewhat hard to find TPB, to boot, and for hardcover's I only dish that kind of money out for Spidey or Wolvie's "Origin" (since it was the only format available).

 

And hey, I know you don't like Elektra, but your unbiased opinion would be great.

I recommend Miller's DD work to everyone. It is revolutionary stuff for it's time.

 

Get DD Visionaries 2 AND DD: Yellow (Soon to be reviewed) in harcover. You can thank me later.

 

I HATE Elektra and didn't get the TPB you're referring to, but it sounds interesting. I say still get Visionaries.
