Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 28, 2002 Report Posted August 28, 2002 I am bored, so I decided to have a poll about which WWE superstar is a bigger jobber. I am probably missing someone, but I tried to put together a list of wrestlers who have not had a televised singles win in awhile(Hence, why Jericho is up there.) Have fun.
Guest kingkamala Posted August 28, 2002 Report Posted August 28, 2002 Crash Holly hasn't had a win of any kind in AT LEAST a year
Guest Youth N Asia Posted August 28, 2002 Report Posted August 28, 2002 I'll go with Staziak The other guys either go over too often or don't get any tv time anyway
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted August 28, 2002 Report Posted August 28, 2002 Sadly, Chris Jericho. Hey, Awesome & Funaki both have more recent wins than Chris. And yet, Jericho was the most entertaining thing on the last Raw.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 28, 2002 Report Posted August 28, 2002 Darn. I knew I was forgetting someone. Crash never wins. He never seems to be on TV though, ever, except for the occasional fluke Hardcore title win, and I remember he lost to Raven in a Heat match awhile back. I actually did think about making this an thre round tournament, but I was not quite sure how to rate it. How could you be the biggest jobber if you actually WIN a tournament? But it would be kind of weird taking the losers of the matches and have them advance, so it would just end up being way confusing.
Guest razazteca Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 Stevie Richards made Tommy Dreamer look good
Guest midnight_burn Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 I'll say Jericho. Most of the rest i can recall having a win more recently than Jericho has, and to think he was the 1st Undisputed Champion. I'll give Stasiak the runner up.
Guest converge241 Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Justin Credible ive seen all the other guys get a win!!
Guest BAR Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 Justin Credible - From ECW World Champ to DubyaDubyaEEEEE jobber.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted August 30, 2002 Report Posted August 30, 2002 I must admit that this poll turned out more interesting than I thought it would. Poor Jericho. He is only one vote behind Planet Stasiak. I wish I have put Hugh Morrus and Crash on here, but oh well. I do wonder how this poll will end up though. It would be kind of funny to see Jericho pull ahead of Stasiak.
Guest Redhawk Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Jericho jobs a lot, but at least he's jobbing in high profile matches with good wrestlers. Stasiak jobs in under 2 minutes to anyone. Really, I haven't seen him win one time in WWE.
Guest dreamer420 Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 Ric Flair Does this guy even hold a pinfall victory over anyone other than Vince?
Guest goodhelmet Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 tajiri. he was squashed by mark henry tonight for god's sake. pathetic as fuck
Guest dreamer420 Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 tajiri. he was squashed by mark henry tonight for god's sake. pathetic as fuck at least he has beat kidman, the hurricane, and a few others. flair should be leader of the job squad these days I tell you what.
Guest Redhawk Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 Ric Flair Does this guy even hold a pinfall victory over anyone other than Vince? Well, considering that his finisher is a submission hold, a pinfall win would probably mean that he got some help or cheated to win. But anyway, Flair pretty much squashed Steven Richards on RAW a while ago. But again, at least he jobs in upper card matches, just like Y2J. Stasiak, Justin Credible, Tommy Dreamer, and Albert are the REAL jobbers, since they lose in insignificant matches to un-over people.

OK, if you want to be an ass clown and get technical then how many submission victories does Flair hold? He has beaten Vince, Jericho, and Richards but has lost too many times in too many big matches to be considered anything more than a jobber.
Guest Redhawk Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 But look at WHO Flair's lost to: 1. He lost a World Championship match to Triple H 2. He lost a match to Brock Lesnar, during the Lesnar Push to the Title. 3. He lost to Steve Austin in that "Winner Becomes a Servant" match. 4. He lost to The Rock on RAW. 5. He lost to Vince McMahon (and who DOESN'T have to lose to Vince once in their career) in a match that was for 100% of the company. 6. He lost to Steve Austin again at Judgment Day. 7. He lost to Hulk Hogan in a Undisputed Title match. At the same time, he beat Jericho at SummerSlam, and beat Eddy Guerrero at KOTR. A true jobber is someone who loses to random un-over or alomst-over people at random times, and/or gets squashed in matches that don't even mean anything besides building someone as a monster. Flair is FAR from that distinction.

Flair is FAR from that distinction. I guess in my mind a former 16 time world champ and one of the greatest wrestlers in history deserves a little more than the WWE is giving him. Sure Flair is a legend but the WWE only seems to book him as a jobber to the stars, with the exception of the wins that were all ready discussed. I just think he deserves more than to be the guy who puts over all the other top guys in the company.
Guest Redhawk Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 But who do want to see Flair going over? His best role right now is to "give the rub" to younger stars, and draw good matches and teach psychology to guys like Lesnar, Cena, Batista, and so on. I mean if Ric Flair were beating all these stars who he jobs to now, you'd be bitching about him the same way everyone bitches about Undertaker.
Guest bravesfan Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Well, I almost had a heart attack when I saw that CRASH HOLLY was in the 2nd hour of Raw this week...
Guest nWoScorpion Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Justin Credible - From ECW World Champ to DubyaDubyaEEEEE jobber. The Dubya thing only works for hicks and rednecks (ted turner) doesn't really apply to Vinny Mac and Co.
Guest nWoScorpion Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Flair, much like Hogan, are using their final runs to put over the younger talent. Hogan has done many a job since february, to Rock, HHH, Angle, Brock, The Un-Americans, and Undertaker (ok so he isn't that young). Flair has jobbed almost every match he's had on RAW that didn't include a former ECW wrestler.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Mike Awesome. Other than his one Hardcore Title win I don't think he's won once in his WWE tenure. Granted, he was out for months on injuries, but still... he had to job to Mark Henry AND Albert. How embarrassing...
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 I can't think of the last time Justin got a TV win. I'm not even sure if he won at the last house show I attended... I feel bad for him.
Guest El Gigante Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Mike Awesome, he lost to the man who was formally the biggest jobber in the WWE, Funaki.
Guest Will Scarlet Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Poor Jericho. It looks like he has pulled out ahead. I was kind of hoping he would when I first made this thread. I am glad it is having some reasonable discussion in it.
