Guest treble charged Report post Posted August 29, 2002 Click here to read my review of the new treble charger CD. It's my first attempt at reviewing music, so it could very well suck, but I would like feedback. If you do read it, and would like to respond in kind, either e-mail me, or just post something in this thread. Thanks.
Guest starvenger Report post Posted August 29, 2002 It's not a bad review. I think you went a bit on a tangent in the middle, but you managed to get back on topic at the end. For a first review, I think it's pretty damn good. Anyways, based on what you've written in your review, treble charger seems to be trying to break into the US by producing what seems to be a more "US radio-friendly" album a la OLP. I dunno if that's actually the case, but that's the vibe I'm getting here...
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted August 30, 2002 I agree, it's not a bad review - short and to the point. I wish I could review like that (which reminds me, I really owe Kinetic and Incandenza a music column... dammit, but what on?), but I'm stuck in the "unrelated intro + thesis / the point / semi-related (restate the thesis) conclusion" essay style of writing, for everything, be it essays or movie reviews. Thank God I don't right my Velocity recaps like that

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted August 30, 2002 Review Kylie's album!!! I would, but I actually don't own it I'm probably going to write about Blackaclicious' Blazing Arrow album since I like it so much and it's a 2002 release.
