Well people make indie films that get limited distribution ALL THE TIME, and they can make the film however the hell they want. So I am thinking the only reason Zombie hasn't put this movie out on video is because he just wants it to be seen by more people, whether it be money, or he just truly wants to bring back the REAL HORROR Genre....either way the still pictures I have seen of it so far are truly brutal and gruesome looking, and I will definately check this flick out, whether it be widespread theater, arthouse theaters, or home video....I'm SO THERE.......

Great info site

THE NEW NEWS is that now it's looking to be spring of 2003, and not Oct 2002 like they were saying a month ago

But...Lion's Gate is distributing it...if I'm not mistaken they've also released Dogma, American Psycho, and O...so they are a ballsy company at least

MPAA Rating: R (for strong sadistic violence/gore, sexuality and language)

If you're going to have violence and gore sadistic would be the way to go.

I am one of those people that has been waiting years to see this film. I am sure I will see it the day it comes out in the theaters or on video.

Eh, from what I've heard of the film if its cut in America it'll be uncut on video, so I'll wait for video unless it gets HELLA HELLA GOOD theatrical reviews. Oh who am I kidding, I'd see it in the theatre anyway, just to show my support for Rob Zombie and his trials and tribulations while making the film.
