Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 Here This toy was #1 on my daughter's Christmas list. So what the heck, although it has no educational value I figured it would be good for imaginative play. It wasn't until after she opened her gift and started playing with it that I realized that the toy may offer a more than sensational experience. The broomstick has cute sound effects and ***VIBRATES*** when they put it between their legs to fly. Come on---what were the creators of this toy thinking? She'll keep playing with the Nimbus 2000, but with the batteries removed. When my 12 year old daughter asked for this for her birthday, I kind of wondered if she was too old for it, but she seems to LOVE it. Her friends love it too! They play for hours in her bedroom with this great toy. They really seem to like the special effects it offers (the sound effects and vibrating). My oldest daughter (17) really likes it too! I reccomend this for all children.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 Okay, the first one thinks like me, the second one is Mr. Oblivious. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 Id say whoever authorized it to be made is Captain Oblivious though..
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 They probably didn't reckon on the thing actually vibrating when activated. The idea of a broomstick toy for girls is suspect in the first place anyway. What the hell is a Nimbus 2000 anyway, besides what I've already established? Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 Its a broomstick like the one Harry Potter uses in the books/movie.
Guest kingkamala Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 It's a broomstick used in the Harry Potter books and the film
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 That would explain my lack of caring beyond the humor. I know quite a few teenage female fans... they'd be very happy if I got this for them. VERY happy. I never owned a toy that was a 2000 or whatever. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Retro Rob Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 I know it was a stretch to buy this for my seven year old--but he's such a Harry Potter fan I thought he would find it amusing. He thought it was really dumb even before opening the package. My four year old son, though, thinks it's great and he's only starting to learn about Harry Potter. This has to be one of the funniest things I have seen all day.
Rob E Dangerously Posted August 29, 2002 Report Posted August 29, 2002 This vibrating broom sounds like something you'd get as a sex toy for your girlfriend if you didn't have the guts to get something like a Dildo Then she'd dump your stupid ass
