Guest kurtangledoesnotsuck Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Retire quietly after a show Cause a huge fuss and fight backstage Retirement Match Stone Cold will retire first Continue in another roll in the WWF Leave with Kane
Guest nwawildsidemark Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 he will win a match at Mania next year and retire to become a behind the scenes employee
Guest dilk bathoon Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 as long as the wwf pushes him, he'll be wrestling.
Guest joshicho Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 He'll wrestle as long as Hogan wrestles in my view.
Guest Choken One Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Likely he'll retire in 2003 at Survivor Series in a Farewell match in Houston Texas.
Guest Flair5000 Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 He'll do a Foley and come back time and time again. But I think he'll be wrestling at least another 3-4 years, sadly.
Guest Marius714 Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 I could handle the Undertaker doing like Mick Foley and doing an "occasional" match. This is a good way to ease him out.
Guest oldschoolhero Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Uh, how did Foley ease out by doing an "occasional" match? He wrestled full-time up until his retirement then did one more match, which hapened to be the Mania main event.
Guest mastermind Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 UT retire? Is this an oxymoron? Hell, Ric Flair still hasn't gone away and we think Taker will retire next year? I bet Roddy Piper is still itching to make his 1 zillionth return soon.
Guest AM The Kid Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 I figure that maybe this Wrestlemania. Undertaker beats Ric Flair, boosts his Wrestlemania winning streak to 10 years...then just retires. A good last match with one of his rolemodels and former enemy back in the early 90's, maybe he'll even bring the dead man gimmick back for one last night. It would be a perfect way to retire.
Guest mastermind Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Yes it would be a great way to retire, but has anyone retired gracefully. Although, I think Hogan came back and so did Flair for that special send off. How should those two retire is another good question. I say Hogan retires in his "edgy" red and yellow Real American against the American Olympic Hero Kurt Angle. At least Angle would carry him. As for Flair I don't know. Bring back Sting for one last match with him.
Guest obi won jabroni Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 When Taker retires he should go back to the original dead man gimmick for a last run. Then the last thing he can say in his final promo would be ""The Undertaker will now rest in piece" I always thought that would be kool.
Guest Choken One Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Have one Match for the Ages with Flair/Austin...and then Flair can hand the torch over (belatedly) to Austin.
Guest Just call me Dan Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Call me crazy, but I think by the time he is ready to go, RVD will be ready for the final push to elevate him as the #1 face. Undertaker will pass the torch and retire, therefore shutting all of these whiners and complainers up. It would be great.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 they should go back to his oiginal gimmick...do a casket match, have him lose, and he resurrects saying... "I will now Rest in Peace" Sound bad? Of course, but id still laugh my ass off for a month if that happened
Guest X-Factor Corperation Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 I'm not in a hurry for him to retire. He has a good gimick. Can anyone say his match with the Big Show and Maven on Smackdown weren't entertaining? I find it funny how those who complained about Nash and Hogan in the lockerroom of WCW would want Undertaker gone when he's a force in the lockerroom.
Guest Lil Naitch Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 I say resurect the Dead Man gimmick for the last time, and go out with a bang at next years Survivor Series.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 There are only 2 ways that Taker should retire: 1. Immediatly 2. By putting over an up and coming face at WrestleMania (to break his unbeaten streak) Either one of those would be a classy way to go.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 UNDERTAKER RETIRE? your kidding right? when have you ever known a wrestler to retire and STAY retireed with foley So far being the only exeption. if a wrestler is phisically capable to keep going he will lokk at funk, hogan, flair, piper, savage, etc.
Guest buffybeast Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 I think Taker will wrestle as long as his hips and knees allow him to. From what I understand, his hips are in bad shape but he continues to work through the pain. I am not so sure, however, if Taker will retire any time soon, especially with Sara being under a developmental contract and set to debut full time this year.
Guest dreamer420 Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 I would like to see him have one more title reign and then drop it to someone like Benoit or RVD. Call it passing the torch if you want to.
