Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted August 31, 2002 Back again for more butchering. I also await my own personal butchering. Butchering party here tonight. Greetings from under the black 200X Resistol hat somewhere between JFK and Tulsa, courtesy of American Airlines, on my way to Tulsa to see the Oklahoma Sooner college football season opener. Maybe while I'm here, I'll sign some players to go over Chris Jericho. Random thoughts and "cryptic messages" for those who enjoy reading between the lines and putting their own "expert" spin on things ... i.e. Finding the truth. SummerSlam was excellent and the World Wrestling Entertainment Superstars are to be commended. Solid to excellent in-ring product throughout. Even WE are surprised at how good the HBK-HHH match was. The Shawn Michaels-Triple H match was one of the most emotional contests I have ever had the privilege of broadcasting. If it was Michaels' last match -- and no one knows at this time for sure -- he left a lasting memory for all of us. The Game seems to be much more comfortable as an antagonist than a fan favorite. Even though I told everyone on RAW that Michaels lost the feeling of his legs. But, hey, the Kliq have survived life-threatening injuries before in the matter of weeks. The Chris Benoit-Rob Van Dam match at SummerSlam was a dandy. Physical with a great story. They both have been repremanded and told to never do that again. RAW was disappointing. Should have been better. The Madison Square Garden crowd certainly held up its end. Rob Van Dam vs. Tommy Dreamer stole the show. Any time that Tommy Dreamer has the best match on a show, you know something has gone horribly wrong. SmackDown! had a unique concept that worked. Good show. It'll be changed in two weeks. Great to see a leaner Kane back on RAW. He's down to only 275-280 pounds. And yes, that was the real and original Kane. Woah, woah, woah! 280? He better bulk back up, he's in danger of dropping out of hoss territory and losing his push! Bubba Dudley and Rev. D-Von have both signed new long-term contracts with WWE. Chris Jericho also finalized his new contract over the past few days. Matt Hardy, who I truly believe can make an impact on SmackDown!, and brother Jeff have both had their existing contracts extended. It's amazing what you can acomplish when you threaten a man's family. My condolences to Spike Dudley on the recent death of his aunt to cancer. Funeral services are today near Chicago. So, if you live near Chicago and have nothing to do today... Congrats to Fit Finlay and his wife, Mel, on the birth of another son. Someone bred with Fit Finlay? Wow. Tommy Dreamer is getting "hitched" (married) on Oct. 12, which happens to be the anniversary of my wife, Jan, and me (and the day OU plays Texas). Someone WANTS to marry Tommy Dreamer? That is even more shocking! Shelton Benjamin, when properly introduced on TV, is going to evolve into one helluva wrestler. Anyone over 300 pounds is a helluva wrestler in my book. Sean O'Haire continues to slowly improve and has the chance someday to be a real main event player, probably on RAW. He is also has the chance to be a jobber on Heat. My money is on the latter. Test, Christian, and Lance Storm seem to me to be the verge of something special as the Un-Americans. The next step is largely up to them. We need to drop the dead weight in the group. Bye-bye Storm and Christian. William Regal is one of the best teachers of mat techniques and ring psychology I have ever been around. Too bad you can't use mat technique and psychology in a three minute match. No one in our company can deny the hard work consistently coming from underrated talents like Steven Richards and Justin Credible. Well, we can, by not putting them on Monday nights. When is, or what will it take, for D'Lo Brown to "break through"? Same for Raven. Me quitting, probably. You gotta like the potential of Jamal & Rosie once they are both healthy and in game shape. For a Samoan, under 450 pounds is considered in shape. Rikishi is considered skinny. Trish Stratus, Stacy Keibler, Terri and Lita were a hit at the Ross' house Wednesday for the photo shoot for our next cookbook. My wife, the real brains behind this project, made all the lovely ladies feel at home. I just wish she hadn't locked me in the basement, yelling that, "Unlike Vince, my fantasies will not come true." Jacqueline Moore returns to action this week and after minor surgery a few weeks ago. Who? I don't think we are pushing the women this month. Bill DeMott, no longer known as Hugh Morrus, narrowly avoided losing his life in a tragic car accident in Los Angeles this week. Bill is OK and on his way to Iceland with the Tough Enough 3 folks. Bill DeMott can be a main-eventer here with the right creative presentation and is a helluva great guy. Yes, Hugh Fucking Morris has a better chance of winning the title then Chris Benoit. Several people on my staff will be reading the updated Hulk Hogan book this weekend. The book comes out, I believe, in mid-November. In an unrelated story, I am going to need a new staff next week. Our commitment and belief in Brock Lesnar is going to pay off big time much sooner than some "experts" thought. I've got six weeks in the office pool before we put the belt back onto HHH. Batista is beginning to demonstrate at live events and in the locker room that he has what it takes to be an impact player, also. He just needs time and significant one-on-one coaching, and that's what he will soon be getting from Fit Finlay, among others. The cruisers, however, will be told to sit in the corner and not talk. Look for deserving Bull Buchanan to receive more SmackDown! TV time soon. I think that Bull can comfortably perform for over 10 minutes a show. I mean, I enjoy watching him work, so our audience must as well. I am so proud of Eddie Guerrero, not only because of his in-ring work, but also because he is becoming one of our true leaders in the locker room. We need to create something for Chavo who, seemingly, never has a bad match and has strong verbal skills. These two are certainly making their family proud. Let's see if their families will be as proud once we kill the Guerrero name by jobbing both out to Mark Henry. Powerful Mark Henry is making progress and continues to work on his conditioning. Mark is around 350-360 and will probably find his best weight to be around 330-340. This kid has charisma, which can't be taught. He also has an eating disorder that can't be taught as well. Our fans want "new" talents in the upper level mix and that's what everyone involved is attempting to provide. Can't happen overnight, though. Six more months/years of HHH and Undertaker should do the trick. I call that "overnight". Nothing significantly new on the injury front. Albert managed to somehow pull fat, but you won't hear me talking bad about a hoss in this report. Take care and I hope you enjoy RAW on Monday from Milwaukee, where the fans and the arena catering are top-notch. I'll be tanked when calling the show. I've heard it can be more entertaining that way. J.R. (Boomer Sooner) And all of you suck. 2 to 1 no one still doesn't give a fuck about me.

Am I the only one that got a little bit scared by those comments ? When most say they want new faces in the Main Event, they're referring to RVD, Benoit, Edge, Guerrero, etc. But for some reason, JR interprets it as: "BAH GAWD ! THE FANS WANT MORE HOSSES ! HEY DEMOTT, BROCK, BATISTA, HENRY - you'll be in the Main Event ! Y'ALL BE WHIPPIN EACH OTHER LIKE GOVERNMENT MULES AND RUNNIN AWAY LIKE SCALDED DOGS, BY GAWD ! .....I'm now fully convinced that the WWE writers just don't understand what the fans want....
