Guest Ozymandias Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 I say Moby would drop Feminem in 90 seconds. Fem's fighting experience consists of sucker-punching fans and pistol-whipping someone - my mom could do that. Bottom line: Someone who would get intimidated by an Insult-Comic Dog isn't kicking ANYONE'S ass.
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Dude, Eminem would beat Moby down. Now, 2000 Eminem would be a more fair fight. I'm just saying this because he looks like he's bulked up a little lately after I saw his performance. Either way, almost any male music personality could kick Moby's ass. Make them compete to proudce a better album, and I'm all about betting on one side. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 I still want to see Eminem fight Ted Nugent.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Ted Nugent would make Em a huge bitch, and then turn his corpse into beef jerky. I'd place my cash on Em in a fight between him and Moby. Sorry, but Moby is scrawnier than Em, shorter than Em, and a whole lot older than Em. Marshall has the height, weight, and strength advantage.
Guest Fort Detrick Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 I don't care who Eminem fights. Someone just needs to kick his ass.
Guest Dr. Wrestlingphysics Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Either way, almost any male music personality could kick Moby's ass. Make them compete to proudce a better album, and I'm all about betting on one side. And many women too. I wouldn't fancy Moby's chances against, say, Missy Elliot!
Guest Nevermortal Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Okay, how about this? Eminem vs. Peter Steele From Type O Negative. I bet Pete's voice would make Eminem quiver to his knees.
Guest Rock Candy Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Heh! Even Eminem vs. G.G. Allin would be pretty cool. But Allin's dead, and he probably would've crippled Eminem in a fight. -Ben
Guest evenflowDDT Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Somehow I was hoping the bet would be whether or not Moby sells songs from his new album to commercials and corporations left and right like he did for all the tracks on Play. I'd TAKE that bet, because he's already done it, can't remember which songs though. Where's all this Moby vs. Eminem in a fist fight coming from? Did something go down at the VMA's? I haven't watched the VMA's since the Wayans' hosted because that one was so terrible, especially following the brilliance of Chris Rock, that it turned me off of VMA's forever. Well, that and the fact that except for HeAT I don't watch MTV period...
Guest Youth N Asia Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I'd give a Canadian dollar to see Eminem vs Rollins... Em is probably no different then Fred Durst...Fred kept talking shit about the guy from Creed saying he'd do this and that to him...when Scott Stapp said "Ok, let's fight then"...Fred pulled his little pussy "I ain't about fighting" crap... I'd believe Eminem to be the same...the kid in school that fucked with people, then when you wanted to fight he'd pull the "You're lucky we're in school or else I would" bit Moby probably bites...I'd pick him I don't like techno, I don't like rap...so really I could care less
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I still fail to see why Moby is considered Techno. He really isn't that Techno-ey. He uses a lot of electronica elements, but I really wouldn't classify him as such. He goes under "other" in my mind. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Didn't he once say that he hasn't done a techno album in ten years? I think it was on the Daily Show a few weeks ago...
Guest Ozymandias Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Where's all this Moby vs. Eminem in a fist fight coming from? Did something go down at the VMA's? Well, Eminem inexplicably bad-mouthed Moby in his "Without Me" song, calling him a "fag" (the mind reels at the wit being displayed there). At the VMA's there was a bit where Triumph: The Insult-Comic Dog (of Conan O'Brien fame) was in the audience harrassing Moby, but Moby was taking it in good spirits and laughing. Example: "Why did Eminem call you a bald-headed, 36 year-old fag? You're only 35!" Then the guy who does the puppet's voice said "Let's go see Eminem" who - oddly - was only 3 rows in front of Moby. The camera followed the puppet up and then you see Eminem standing up in the aisle with a couple "entourage" stooges giving the classic "No pictures, no comment" pose. Just generally being a humorless prick which obviously made the audience rolls their eyes. He even tried to punch the friggin' hand-pupet dog (see, Eminem's tough!). Anyway, coincidentally right after that (after MTV directors abruptly cut the bit short) Eminem won for Best Male Video. He fucked up a line in his speech and said "That girl Moby got me all flustered". The audience started booing and he looked at Moby and said "I WILL hit a man with glasses" as if it was HIS fault that the prick was getting booed, and at THAT point the audience damn near booed him off the stage. It was just ugly to witness and its SUCH a bitch move since Eminem is obsessed with appearing tough yet the person he chooses to fight with is Moby - perhaps the wussiest guy in music. It's like the scrawny wigger in High School who pretended to be tough but would always start shit with the wimpiest kids because otherwise he'd get killed. Which is why I KNOW even a wimp like Moby would kick Feminem's ass - the guy is just a gutless pussy.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I'd give a Canadian dollar to see Eminem vs Rollins... Rollins would destroy Eminem, but not nearly as bad as Nugent. Nuge might be the last guy in the world of music that I would want to fight. Rollins would just knock someone on their ass and be done with it..Nugent is a weird fucker, though. Not quite Frank Zappa weird, but weird none the less.
Guest nl5xsk1 Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Heh! Even Eminem vs. G.G. Allin would be pretty cool. But Allin's dead, and he probably would've crippled Eminem in a fight. -Ben I think that even after being dead for 10 years, GG could STILL kick Eminem's ass.
Guest Rob Van Dam Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 I still want to see Eminem fight Ted Nugent. Eminem and Ted Nugent are probably friends since there both from Detroit
Guest benoitrules2000 Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Could anyone post the clip of eminem making the speech and being booed off stage?
Guest Ozymandias Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Unless someone taped the original braodcast or the immediate replay, forget it. MTV predictably edited the whole mess out of the weekend replays and all future ones. Ya' know, since something unexpected and REAL actually happened. Can't have that on MTV.
Guest converge241 Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 As much as I love Moby, he alwasy looks like hes about to die he aint kicking no ones ass
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 As much as I love Moby, he alwasy looks like hes about to die he aint kicking no ones ass He looks like he belongs in the movie THX 1138.

Can't have that on MTV. nope... not the even the prefabricated music is real... so... haha
Guest SuperTonyJaymz Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 Moby does look like a biter. Triumph kicks all types of ass. btw am i the only one wh liked the hives vs. the vines?
Guest Youth N Asia Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 btw am i the only one wh liked the hives vs. the vines? No way brotha! That was the only watchable moment from the show. Hives were great...I'm still a little split on the Vines
Guest evenflowDDT Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Unless someone taped the original braodcast or the immediate replay, forget it. MTV predictably edited the whole mess out of the weekend replays and all future ones. Ya' know, since something unexpected and REAL actually happened. Can't have that on MTV. That's only MTV over here... from what I've read online the European MTV's never cut anything out of live broadcasts, especially not something so stupid. But then that's because they could care less about either artist, heh.
Guest Marshall Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Moby resonds Not very exciting. He is backing off.
Guest Zero_Cool Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 Hey, remember the feud between Eminem and Marky Mark? Now who would win that fight?
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 5, 2002 Report Posted September 5, 2002 Eminem tried to beef with Marky Mark? Is he INSANE? Fo sanity, Kotzenjunge
Guest massivHEDtrauma Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 Marky Mark would straight womp Eminem's bitch ass. And I thought the Hives ruled the damned show. Sure, G'N'R rocked and all, but the Hives, man, that was just OFF THE CHIZAIN.
Guest converge241 Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 "btw am i the only one wh liked the hives vs. the vines? No way brotha! That was the only watchable moment from the show. Hives were great...I'm still a little split on the Vines " the Hives blew them away.. the Vines sounded like Nirvana on a really bad day
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 The dude from The Hives channeled Mick, The Vines' dude channeled some retarded dude yelling. Another thing: The Hives were confident enough to play a song that the crowd wasn't familiar with, thus getting a better reaction I think. The Vines just played the same song that anyone who watches MTV had heard many times already. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
