Guest MrRant Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 What if its the best view/location/skiing etc?
Guest DeputyHawk Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 meh. you're funnier with the no ma'am stuff.
Guest MrRant Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 I wasn't trying to be funny. I'm just saying that may be the reason and it could be a money losing venture if they build it on another mountain.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 sometimes money should come after respect. barking up the wrong tree, i know.
Guest MrRant Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 I understand that really I do. I guess TO ME its not the same as say building a hotel on a concentration camp.
Guest DeputyHawk Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 true, but i think the principle remains the same. i can understand the outcry, is all.
Guest Hogan Made Wrestling Posted September 11, 2002 Report Posted September 11, 2002 Building a museum or something wouldn't be a big deal, however building a luxury hotel trivialises an important historical site. Hell, in the US people don't want anything being rebuilt over the WTC site, and that's recent history.
Guest the 1inch punch Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 BTW: Didn't Nike/some other sneaker outfit offend a Muslim group by having a holy symbol or something on one brand of shoe some years back? Yes they did It was Nike, btw, i only remember this because my cousin has said sneakers
