Guest wwF1587 Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 anyone know what Confidential is about tonight
Guest The Electrifyer Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Ummmm... it says: Confidential preview for August 31, 2002 Page 1 of 1 This week on Confidential: Head to The World in New York City and get the best seat in the house at this year's Tough Enough 2 finale! Confidential will have exclusive interviews with the four finalists and the two winners of the pretigious competition. Tune in this Saturday, right after WWE Velocity, at 11 p.m./10 p.m. ET only on TNN! .... I don't think it's right.
Guest KingOfOldSchool Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Isn't that a repeat? I'm pretty sure they aired it during one of the past weeks, had to be during the one week of Velocidental I missed in the beginning.
Guest JMTapes Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Yeah, it is a replay. Why even bother? This show sucks. -Jim
Guest ISportsFan Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 Velocity preview: Chavo Guerrero v. Hurricane Albert v. Mark Henry Bily/Chuck v. Randy Orton/Hardcore Holly Jaome Noble v. Sho Funaki Jason
Guest KanadianKrusty Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 The 2 cruiser matches should be pretty good, but I THINK i'll skip the hoss match
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted August 31, 2002 Report Posted August 31, 2002 (*sigh*) Nobody's gonna watch a terrible replay of Confidential. Why can't they have a new one? I want more of our WWE champion, Porkchop Les-naaar... You had to be there.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I think they will have a new Confidential. That previous was probably just fucked up since nobody really pays attention to these little shows at wwe.com. I'm looking forward to the Cruiser matches too.
Guest TheHulkster Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Im on my 5th beer, by the time Confidential comes on, i'll be too fucked up to notice that it's a repeat, so it all works out. Nice to see Funaki get the Velocity main event rub from a superstar like the Hurricane. I see big things for this kid.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 The production staff goes on vacation during holiday weekends and don't have time to do the show. Every holiday we get a rerun.
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 But... it's freakin' Labor Day! Fo sheez, man, Velocidential is the only show I go out of my way to watch.
Guest OctoberBlood Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Confidental is replaying the Davey Boy Smith show. The one where they remember him, etc..
Guest The Czech Republic Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Here's a fun fact: I created the term "Velocidential" because I was too lazy to type "Velocity and Confidential" in the 1&Only threads. Well I'm not watching tonight, the drum corps championships are on PBS here, and I'd rather watch that.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 You know what would make Confidential more fun? If Mean Gene carried a magnifying glass and snuck around behind the props on stage in a trenchcoat. Then he could say "I think we're safe, nobody's listening. Welcome to Confidential, where we have some things to show you that Vince McMahon DOESN'T want you to know!" I think I'll just shut up.
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I started writing "Velocidential" on my tapes when I label them. I owe it all to you, Czech. Thank you, as I am forever lazy. Not to mention: That idea for Confidential is actually pretty cool. Or maybe I am wrong.
Guest HartFan86 Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 They have a graphic up on WWE.com promoting Tough Enough 2's Finale on Confidential. It is a repeat...which is fucking gay.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Velocidential is now immortalized in my new banner.
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Who the hell are those people? Besides Nowinski... Ah, Chavo. Hurricane. That wasn't bad.
Guest Nevermortal Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 HOSS MATCH!!!!!! This is gonna be like untying the Gordian Knot...
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Vertebreaker was teased. I wonder if they'll ever let Helms connect w/ that move? Pretty good match there. Next: bring on the hosses~! (or, as I like to call it, the worst match this week on Velocity)
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I'm really digging Cole's commentary tonight.
Guest Nevermortal Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 This is so tremendous....Its like Rey Mysterio vs. Psicosis from BATB '96. Did you see Albert do that amazing Space Flying Tiger Drop?
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Did Loyd just pronounce it "Mat titude" like it was 2 words?
Guest The Superstar Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 That closeup of Mark Henry will give me NIGHTMARES
Guest candie45 Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I would now like to take the time to reiterate the fact that ALBERT NEEDS CLOTHES!
Guest Nevermortal Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Note to Albert: When the ropes are on the verge of breaking when you bounce off them, its time to drop some weight.
Guest The Czech Republic Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Who the hell are those people? Besides Nowinski... "Guy Stokes" from General Chat and Amelie Mauresmo
Guest Spaceman Spiff Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 Wow, a body slam gets the pin? Mark Henry gets wins off the lamest finishers (body slam, bear hug)
Guest TheRockIsTheEuropeanChampion Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I was sure those twelve German suplexes in a row would've gotten the job done...
Guest The Superstar Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 But Henry's corkscrew moonsault should've sealed the deal. Spectacular.
