Guest Brian Report post Posted February 24, 2002 WWF SmackDown – 11/15/01 Michael Cole and Paul Heyman run through the usual shill of the survivor series card and the weekend’s Cruiserweight tournament matches. Stone Cold Steve Austin’s music interrupts. Austin, Booker T, and RVD come down to the ring with Shane and Regal. Austin says that it’s just a matter of time before the Alliance takes over the WWF. The next night on RAW will be a huge celebration. The Rock interrupts and says it will be a big celebration for the WWF, and out come Jericho, who grabs the mic and says the WWF will celebrate since Undertaker will be out of the picture. Rock eyes him, then Undertaker’s music hits. Jericho backs off as Taker and Kane enter. Undertaker says he didn’t get to be the big dog in the WWF by losing matches like this. Jericho says the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Regal says RVD can give Jericho a warm-up for Sunday, for the title. RVD grabs Austin’s mic (causing Austin to stare at him), and says he’ll humble Jericho tonight because he’s RVD. On the titantron comes Foley signing a match with Shamrock, for Austin in a non-title bout for tonight. Austin stares up at the screen as Rock laughs on the entrance-way. <Commercial Break> Backstage, Matt and Jeff talk about what they are going to do tonight against Tazz and Christian. Jeff looks down at the floor as Torrie Wilson looks by with Tajiri, and Matt gives her a stare. Spike Dudley vs. Hurricane Helms Hurricane loses after a he gets rolled up at 6:43 while striking a super-hero pose. Molly walks away without Hurricane post-match. Mick Foley and Steven Regal sign a match for tonight that pit Undertaker, Kane, and Rock against Booker T, Test, and a partner of their choice. Regal smiles saying that their partner can stand toe-to-toe with Undertaker. <Commercial Break> During the Commercial break, a Desire Video package aired for the WWF. Unified WWF/WCW Tag Team Championship Dudleys © vs. the Hollys The Impact Player pull Crash outside of the ring, allowing the Dudleys to hit the 3-D on Hardcore for the pin at 5:34. The Impact Players continue to pound Crash on the outside Vince cuts a promo in the back for the WWF locker room, saying on Sunday not only does the Rock need to win, but all the WWF guys need to win their matches. <Commercial Break> During the commercial break, a Desire Video Package aired for Undertaker. Edge/Angle vs. Impact Players The Impact Players double team Angle and superkick him to the outside, the Justin Credible whips Edge into the ropes and Storm rolls him into the Canadian Maple Leaf and Edge passes out at 8:17. Booker T and Test find Mike Awesome in the locker room. Mike says he’s ready to prove himself, and Booker says he’s ready to see it done. <Commercial Break> During the commercial break, a Desire Video Package aired for WCW. Tazz/Christian vs. the Hardys Tazz catches Matt in the Tazmission for the tap out at 6:51. Shane and Stephanie cut a promo in the back for the Alliance. <Commercial Break> During the commercial break, a Desire Video package played for the Rock. Undertaker/Kane/Rock vs. Test/Mike Awesome/Booker T The match spills onto the outside as Rock hits the rockbottom on Test for the victory at 7:19. <Commercial Break> During the commercial break, a Desire Video package airs for Chris Jericho. WCW Championship Jericho vs. RVD Jericho submits RVD after a triple powerbomb into the Walls of Jericho at 11:34. <Commercial Break> During the commercial break, a Desire Video package airs for Steve Austin. This one is the most elaborate of all and contains footage from his days in WCW to present. Shamrock vs. Austin Rock does commentary during the match, and every chance Austin gets he showboats. The match ends when Shamrock catches Austin’s kick, goes for a dragon screw that Austin blocks, so Shamrock rolls him into the middle of the ring into the anklelock. Angle runs down and Shamrock drops the hold, but Angle just stands there giving Austin enough time to hit the stunner and the pin at 14:48. Austin celebrates inside the ring as the camera fades out.
