Guest BifEverchad Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 The title is pretty self-explanatory. So what is it or what are they? I'm startin to dig the newest White Stripes video, "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground". The song may not be the greatest, but the video is very cool. The projections and the style of the video is awesome. I've never seen it done before come to think of it. Honorable mentions go to, treble charger's "Hundred Million", a very energetic video, great song and lots of cameos from other Canadian artists, such as: Swollen Members, Avril Lavigne, Gob and Sum41. Also the new Disturbed video is pretty sweet too. Apparently MTV have stopped playing it because of the similarities to 9/11, any truth to that? MuchMusic plays it a fair bit, so I wouldn't know about MTV...

Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 "Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground" is up there, fo sheez. Another favorite video right now is "Number One" by Playgroup. Dancing computers RULE! Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Kinetic Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I'm a big Muppets mark, so Weezer's "Keep Fishing" video keeps my attention.
Guest redbaron51 Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 I'm a big Muppets mark, so Weezer's "Keep Fishing" video keeps my attention. same here... Muppets on
Guest saturnmark4life Posted September 1, 2002 Report Posted September 1, 2002 what makes me laugh is that those useless emo pricks saves the day have a video where not only do they sound like a shit version of weezer, they have shit versions of muppets as well. Always makes me laugh. Royksopp's 'remind me' is probably one of the best videos i've ever seen. my current favourites are 'ich will' and 'sonne' from rammstein and 'main offender' by the hives off the top of my head.
Guest Choken One Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Nothing really stands out to me... however, Yes MTV has stopped playing "Prayer" from the Best New Metal band, Disturbed, which is a seriously good song and video.
Guest mesepher Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Pearl Jam's "Do the Evolution" so awesome... such a strong message.
Guest Incandenza Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 I don't watch music video stations very often, and when I do, it's 120 Minutes on MTV2, and I only watch that to hear some new stuff. Most of the videos on there are low budget and crappy. That said, "Dead Leaves and Dirty Ground" is pretty cool.
Guest Bricks Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Another vote for "Keep Fishin'" by Weezer. Muppets = Me Happy
Guest treble charged Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 Yeah, I'm going to have to say that 'Keep Fishing' is my current favourite video, as well.

Guest MaxPower27 Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 I like the "Aerials" video, even if I have no idea what's going on!
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 The way I interpreted the "Aerials" video is that the kid is a child actor, a huge star (see: Culken, Macauly) and such, and that he feels like an alien because he can't really enjoy the simple things in life. That would explain why this little kid looks like an alien to us, to reflect his inner feelings, and why he's at all of these magazine photo shoots and partying with super models and the sort.
Guest Si82 Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 I gotta go with "Keep Fishin'" by Weezer. I mark out for The Muppets. "Dead Leaves And The Dirty Ground" by The White Stripes is pretty good as well, I really like the song too. I just bought it today actually.
Guest Dames Edna Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 No One Knows - QOTSA Weezer used to be so righteous and cool. Rivers needs to decide if he has happy-go-lucky or depressed. I guess its whatever suits him for that certain record. I have a problem accepting him as genuine when he is Buddy Holly-outgoing on the Blue album, depressed on pinkerton, sedated on the green album, and muppets-outgoing on maladroit. The Muppets idea is cool, but the overall video is disappointing - much like the album.
Guest Renegade Posted September 2, 2002 Report Posted September 2, 2002 "By the Way" by RHCP, even though I have no clue why the guy starts to dance with the flares.
Guest converge241 Posted September 3, 2002 Report Posted September 3, 2002 godamnit! i want my MTVX back!
Guest pinnacleofallthingsmanly Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 I like "Gimme the Light"
Guest HungryJack Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 I like the video for Hundred Million , by treble Charger. Also ,the videos for the Rammstein songs 'Ich Will' and 'Feuer Frei' are uber-cool.
Guest FlairsJigglyManTits Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 "keep fishin" by weezer ROCK ON MUPPETS!
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 I still insist that the video for "Sabotage" is the best ever. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest saturnmark4life Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 the videos for the Rammstein songs 'Ich Will' and 'Feuer Frei' are uber-cool. THE STEIN~! i haven't seen the vid for feuer frei yet DAMMIT!!!!
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 I still insist that the video for "Sabotage" is the best ever. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge "one" by Metallica is the greatest music video ever.
Zorin Industries Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 Death in Vegas "Hands around my throat"
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 10, 2002 Report Posted September 10, 2002 CWM, you forget that for a video to be elite, it must have a fat guy in it somewhere. "One" is a tremendous video, but it's no "Sabotage," which stars Fred Kelly as BUNNY~! Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
