When he returns, I want him as far away from the NWO as possible. Maybe feuding with Booker T or RVD or Angle again. Or with Jericho over the belt. Guest Flair5000 Report post Posted February 25, 2002 The tombstone off the top is awesome. One match of his vs Jericho in Japan, from early 90s i think, is just one of the best things I've ever seen. When he comes back I'd like to see Angle and Austin feuds, as his matches with Angle got better and better as they went along, and I think he has good chemistry with Austin. Guest Brian Report post Posted February 25, 2002 Benoit's using like a third of his moveset right now, and I shed a tear for him. He was so close to fallingg prey to the WWF style before he left. His matches with Angle were getting progressively worse IMO. Nothing really touched that WrestleMania match, and it could have been so much more. This is far and away Benoit's best career match, and a true ***** masterpiece. Far better, IMO, than the Bret vs. Owen match from a few weeks earlier. Jericho shifted his weight, forcing Benoit to turn it into more of a superpowerslam. However the supertombstone he did with Eddy(Black Tiger) was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. " Eddie lifted Liger by his tights and dropped him on a pretty high angle. Similar to the implant DDT Edge tries and sometimes succeeds in doing, although from the top turnbuckle. So its obvious they was going for a SuperBrainbuster(something Eddie did quite often, in Japan). However maybe because Liger is a big guy, Eddie couldn't lift him vertical that much and just fell backwards, making more of a high angle DDT or even Brainbuster DDT rather than Super Brainbuster. A Brainbuster DDT is a incorrect name from US WWF games for a jumping sheer dop brainbuster, the sort Lyger uses.
