Then we will see what happens." If they wanted to fight each other so much they would do a 50/50 split on the money with a purse for the winner. Guest BigPoppaKev Report post Posted September 2, 2002 Not a purse so much but like the actual earnings from the fight. Jones thinks he's the bigger draw. Hopkins thinks he's the bigger draw. Jones proposed a 60/40 split in Jone's favor. That would still be a good chunk of change for both of them. I can see why Hopkins would bauk at that idea. I say just split earnings 50/50 then have a say 5 million dollar purse and the winner gets like 4 and the loser get 1. Sounds simple but it's not. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
