Guest Texas Small Arms 09 Report post Posted September 3, 2002 I was watching TV today while at my parent's house today when this new scientific study was annouced that if a child's parents do not wear their seatbelts while driving, the child is more likely to have sex than if his/her parents do wear their seatbelts. Now 2 questions come to mind when I heard this....of course after I stopped laughing and was able to think clearly. 1. Do the scientists have nothing better to do than try to study this? 2. What do these 2 things have in common in the first place? Comparing seatbelts to sex is like comparing apples to oranges. Has anyone else heard about this study? Guest Kotzenjunge Report post Posted September 3, 2002 Lack of seatbelt = Example of risky and irresponsible behaviour. Sex(as a teenager) = Example of risky and irresponsible behaviour. At least that's what they thought the connection was, probably. Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted September 3, 2002 I bet they're more likely to drink milk straight from the carton, too. Anybody want a scientific study to see exactly how much money I could get diverted away from fucking worthless studies like this and into my own checking account? Guest Sandman9000 Report post Posted September 3, 2002 Is this another way to blame the parents for the child's inability to get laid? If so, I'm down wit it.
Guest Cancer Marney Report post Posted September 3, 2002 A few months ago there was a study on how to genetically modify beans and other foods so that they cause less flatulence. ... And in May, a professor made the world-shattering discovery that time is actually money.

Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted September 3, 2002 Ummmm.... right.... I think some scientists purposely do stupid studies like this because they crave attention. I mean you couldn't possibly learn anything important from them.

Guest Some Guy Report post Posted September 3, 2002 It is very hard to have sex in a car while both people are wearing seatbelts. The guy can wear his if the girl is on top in the front seat, but otherwise it's nearly impossible.
