Can't they at least not have a name that immediately catches the eye?

NOTE TO FUTURE TROLLS: Avoid asterisks as well as names of wrestlers being in your name. These attract the eye. Capital letters as well, not to mention exclamation points.

Fo the good of the board,

Traditional booking does say that HHH should go over at Unforgiven, thus allowing RVD to keep chasing him. However, with the way WWE has been forgetting about feuds and/or ending them prematurely in order to move in yet another direction, I think most people are worried that if RVD doesn't win now he won't be around to beat HHH "eventually." I can totally see HHH winning, then RVD either goes to Smackdown or someone decides that RVD didn't draw and then HHH is moved into another feud.

But I think HHH should win anyway, just to keep some stability with the belts, but RVD can "get his heat back" after the match. he only reason I'd have RVD win is that there are more heels on the RAW roster that could use some elevation via working with the champ: Jericho, Christian, Storm, Raven, Test, and Regal. I'm not saying they should get PPV programs, but just a nice little 10 minute title match vs. RVD could do something for their careers. Look at how popular Rikishi became after his title shot vs. HHH in 2000. Look at how Rock elevated Benoit that same year and Eddy Guerrero earlier this year.

But in the grand scheme of things winning and losing is less important than keeping heat. The Rock loses A LOT, but he always gets to give the guy who beat him a Rock Bottom and/or he gets to verbally destroy the guy on the mic afterwards. Therefore, people don't see him as a loser. So have HHH get the pin and keep his belt. At the very worst, all it does is elevate the Intercontinental strap.

In all likelihood this won't be a one match feud. There is simply nothing for either guy to do. Booker is the only other viable option (if you consider a guy who has been jobbed out for a year viable). Hell he could even bust out the old "don't hate the playa, hate the GAME" line from WCW.

But for the near future RVD/HHH is a money feud if done right.

I think it's a one match deal (unless they have a RAW match before it...where RVD wins by DQ or something)

HHH will move on to beat KAne...and complete his list of people he's given unreturned jobs too.

HBK doesn't count...he's not a wrestler until he is.

Also HBK is in the Clique, so he doesn't have to play by the same rules as everybody else. I'm sure HHH would be willing to job to Nash too.

If he hadn't torn his quad I think HHH would have done exactly that at SummerSlam.

It's good that a Kliq replacement was readily available.

Do you think it will be a case of a non-wrestler (HBK) scooping RVD's heat?

Cause that would suck.

I don't know. Because I'm still a little unsure that Triple H is going to win. I don't know why either. I'll never, ever put triple H above that, going over with no reason really; but the way Triple H/HBK is playing out I'm not sure. To me, it seems like a ref bump; followed by Trips getting the sledgehammer and going to hit the exact same shot that he got on HBK, but than Micahels comes out. Two options from there:

a) RVD springs up and hits a spinning heel kick followed by the five star frog splash for the three count, the only booking that makes sense at this point.

B) HBK comes to the ring and stops HHH, they brawl off. Than either HBK gets the last shot, knocking Hunter down, or RVD gets back up and hits a Van Daminator as HHH tries to use the sledgehammer again on HBK. Five star. Pin.

What I'm looking for mainly is RVD getting a semi-clean win and the visual f RVD and HBK. If they do go with HHH winning though, I like option one for the kickout because the ref is a little more groggy with less time and RVD looks pretty strong if the count is long.

HHH should win at Unforgiven if he goes on to put RVD over to finish the feud. But he won't, Unforgiven will be the end of the feud. HHH won't job to RVD twice, c'mon!

RVD should go over @ Unforgiven, because :#1 RVD winning the title and unifying it with the IC title will inmediately elevate the title and RVD, and that's what RAW needs new blood.

#2 HHH doesn't bring the ratings anymore and a long feud with RVD will create some new interest for his lame character.

#3 RVD is over and a clean pin over HHH will make him an instant superstar and will please the marks and smarks around the world.

As I said, WWE cannot possibly think HHH/Kane is going to bring anything in terms of a buyrate. It might be a decent Raw main event but they'd have to be on crack to have that as a PPV main. I do think HHH will get that job back, but in a manner much like with UT...just a Raw match or something.

Really now, what would RVD end up doing exactly if he jobbed to HHH and the feud was over? It makes no sense. This has to be a somewhat long term feud. There's nothing either guy can do that is any better.

someone mentioned it esarlier but i forget where but i can see them putting the belt on rvd at unforgiven leading up to a 'unification' once more at sur. series once this pathetic split angle fails once and for all.

hell, if hhh wants his job back, he can demand a match this monday at raw for the title. he wins by cheating or pedigree or big knee or whatever. for the next xouple of weeks, he fucks with rvd, interferes, etc. leading up to the title switch at unforgiven due to hbk interference leading to hhh-hbk2 down the road where trips gets his win back and all is well in the universe.

Isn't that almost what we said about Jericho at HIAC, that it served no point to have Jericho job and made no sense.

Actually since HHH ended up facing UT at the next PPV for the title, him winning HIAC vs. Jericho did make at least a little bit of sense.

This time it make utterly no sense for HHH to make RVD his job bitch, it would even be against his best interests.

Was HHH's HIAC win brought up during that run with Taker?

Didn't HHH get the shot by beating Hogan on Smackdown, and not Jericho?

Maybe if the HIAC had a "winner becomes #1 contender" stip, the booking could be justified. But it didn't.
