WWE Are morons!

While most internet critics feel that RAW has a much weaker talent roster than Smackdown, word is that WWE is thinking the opposite. WWE apparently feels that RAW has more marquee names than Smackdown. This information may come in handy when predicting future talent jumps.

Pure idiocy, but this is from 1Bob so I'm not sure how relieable it is.

That probably is the basis of the logic in having the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar jump to Smackdown, even though before that happened Smackdown was looking up in both great matches and in ratings. I guess the myths of cruiserweights and vanilla midgets being kryptonite to a wrestling company can go out the window.

This is just rationalizing making Smackdown look better. Honestly, could even the dimmest of marks believe that Raw has more talent?

I'm starting to think Raw has blown intentionally in recent weeks. Bisch is still GOLD, but I'm worried they're trying to make "his" show look bad because of him.

It'd be so much easier to dislike Stephanie if she wasn't hot...

RAW has HHH, that's enough starpower to carry a wrestling show [/sARCASM]

They have enough talent on RAW, but they don't push anyone to the next level.

RVD is still an IC level guy who sometimes gets involved in the main events, just like a year ago.

Booker is stuck in meaningless tag matches and comedy routines, just like a year ago (remember Booker/Test, WCW tag team champions?).

Jericho is stuck between IC title level and the main event scene, just like a year ago.

D'Lo isn't on RAW, just like a year ago.

Raven isn't on RAW.

Dreamer is at least on RAW now but isn't going anywhere.

Big Show is still a joke.

Bubba Ray is protected all the time but not pushed. So why even bother?

Spike bumps.

Storm was IC champion one year ago, now he's tag champ in a dead division.

feel free to continue...

So if this is true, why the big deal over Crash jumping? Since when is Crash is a big name? I mean, it makes some sense because it gives them another cruiserweight to work with, but who really cares about Crash???

Crash in the cruiserweight division??? I guess I should be more worried about when Scotty 2 Potty comes back. The cruiserweights they have now are some of the best....throw Crash and Scotty in and they'll stick out like sore thumbs.

Well, normally I'd agree, but remember they have to wrestle the WWE Style. So, Crash and Scotty should do well.

OK lets see who has more "star power"

RAW

Booker T: Former 5 time WCW champion, hasn't gotten a decent singles push in WWF. Co ME'ed Invasion, Summerslam 2001, Unforgiven 2001, and Survivor Series 2001, jobbed in all but Invasion.

Chris Jericho: Former WCW champ, first Undisputed champ, IC, Euro, HC, and tag champ, but is always buried. ME'ed a bunch of PPVs, mostly jobbing except NWO 2002, RR 2002, Vegence 2001, and the one before that. Didn't win cleanly though.

Kane: Former WWF champ (1 day), IC champ, WWF/WCW tag champ, and HC champ. Hasn't drawn a dime since 98 or 99. ME'd KOTR 98, and a few others over the years, but none recently/

RVD: IC, HC, and Euro champ. Has yet to get a sustained push to the main event. ME'ed the Oct. 2001 PPV and Survivor Series 2001 and jobbed.

HBK: former WWF champ, IC, Euro, and tag champ. Has wrestled once since 3/98. ME'ed countless PPVs from 95-early 98.

Ric Flair: legend, but 53 years old and way past his prime in every respect. ME'ed a ton of PPVs over the years.

Big Show: former WCW and WWF champ, HC, and tag. Never gets a sustained push and he has yet to draw in his career. ME'ed Survibor Series 99, WM 2000, and a few others, none recently.

HHH: Grand Slam champ, hasn't drawn shit this year and has yet to have a **** match, but still goes over everyone. ME'ed vitrtually every PPV he's been heathly enought to wrestle on in the last 3 years.

Smackdown!

Chris Beniot: WCW champ, IC, and tag. Got one legit push to ME in WWF and then got injured. ME'ed KOTR 2001 and jobbed, co-ME'ed a few others in 2000 and jobbed in all of them.

Eddy: IC, Euro, Crusier, US, and WCW tag champ. Never has gotten a ME push. Never ME'ed.

Edge: IC, Tag, US, and gets a pretty consistant mid card push. Never ME'ed a PPV.

Hulk Hogan: See Ric Flair. ME'ed WM 18, Backlash and the May PPV along with a billion others over the years.

Kurt Angle: WWF champ, IC, Euro, HC, and WCW champ. Gets puched and depushed for no good reason prohibiting him fom being a good draw. Sporatically ME'ed PPVs from 2000-2001, jobbed in most.

The Rock: Off shooting a movie. ME'ed a million PPVs over the last few years.

Undertaker: WWF champ and WWF/WCW tag. Never loses and always makes opponenst look bad. hasn't drawn since mid 2000. Still MEing despite no one caring about him.

Brock Lesnar: WWF champ, hasn't even gotten over yet. ME'ed Summerslam 2002.

I'd say SD! has more big names but neither is a blow away roster of upper card guys. 5 Raw guys have ME'ed PPVs in singles matches, although HBK and Flair really shouldn't count. 5 SD! guys have as well and they continue to do so.

Theoretically, from looking at Some Guy's list of Raw & SD superstars, it actually does look like they're kind of even. But when you look at feuds and where these stars are at right now, Raw's talent does suck more. I'm hoping we see some wrestlers like Jericho, Booker T and RVD get elevated to the main event soon. As of right now, Raw only has one guy who is used to PPV main events, HHH and soon, Raw is gonna need a lot more.

the problem with raw is we see the same matches over and over and the problem with smackdown is that the midcard has little planning.

You know what sucks? I was really getting into Smackdown as MY show to watch, bu then UT jumped and now im stuck with him on one show and HHH on the other. Joy.

In terms of Main Eventers (name recognition, etc.), Raw has a bit of an edge, but talent-wise, I think Smackdown has them beat.

But you wouldn't be listening to Michael Cole, which is like a vacation to my ears for me.

And I'd much rather watch Taker than Rikishi. Taker's ass is not THAT fat. Not yet, anyway.
