I'm somewhat happy....

Before I start, let me point out that I am NOT, I repeat, NOT, bragging about my social life, because (a) This is nothing to brag about and (b ) Tragically, my social life mysteriously disappeared earlier this year. The way I see it, my social life was either eaten by badgers, lost at sea, or is currently playing a game a Monopoly with such esteemed celebrities as Elvis, Tupac, Jimmy Hoffa, 5 of the first 6 Ultimate Warriors, and the Easter Bunny.

 

Anyway, today was my first day of classes...it wasn't the most exciting day, as I had a morning class at 10 and a second class at 2:40. I don't live on campus and don't drive, so I couldn't just go home, so I basically just killed time all day, walking around trying to find people I knew, particularly this girl I met last semester who I kinda had a thing for but never really got to know outside of class. I couldn't find her, and after a while, just gave up and went to class.

 

And what a class it was, people. SEX~! LIES~! VIDEOTAPE~! This class had absolutely NONE of that, but he let us go early, so that's a start. So anyway, I'm getting ready to catch the train, kinda disappointed since I was really looking forward to seeing the girl, when suddenly I hear someone call my name. I turn around and she's standing with her sister, talking. So I go over and speak, we have little convo, and she has to run, but gives me a hug before she goes. Not much, but I've been smiling ever since.

 

Well...I still don't have her number, but she hugged me! My God, that's the most action I've got since...since...um...DAMN~! You know...I'm so happy right now, I ALMOST wanna stop attempting suicide...ALMOST!

I am not very happy today. I felt sick most of the day. On the flip side, I did see some cute first year girls as I walked around campus this afternoon. And, optimistically, I felt incredibly sick for many of the same reasons during my first year of university, and that year went great, so maybe history will repeat itself, or my worst fear is about to become a reality. Ah well, I just have to think optimistically.

I'm reasonably happy, I got my teeth cleaned at the dentist, but I do have a small cavity, i went to see my girl at work, and now I'm drinking a beer adn awaiting dinner. Aside from having to go back to college tomorrow I'm pretty good.
