File Sharer Problems

I've gone through my fair share of file sharers, such as Napster, LimeWire, WinMX, Blubster, AudioGalaxy, Morpheus, Kazaa, and most recently SongSpy. Out of all of them, I found SongSpy to be the best for me personally (besides old school Napster). But lately SS won't work for me. I never connects and is always busy or whatever. Anyways, what should I do now? All of the other servers I listed stopped working for me tooo for some reason. Morpheus, Kazaa, LimeWire, etc all were excellent for a short period before they screwed up and wouldnt work for me. So now I come to you, my smart makrs and ask, any ideas?

 

If at all, please help a mp3 starved fellow in trouble.

I'd wholeheartedly recommend WinMX for your music needs, as it's actually supplanted KaZaA as my reflex click for mp3 downloads.

 

I still say KaZaA Lite is the winner when it comes to sharing non-music items, however.

 

As far as your problems go...I can't really tell from what you've said, but the easiest "blanket" fix for something like this would be to reinstall the SS client and try it again from square one. Also, make sure that you don't inadvertently remove any of the base files from the client by using a spyware sniffer program or the like.

A new version of WinMX (3.29 beta 6) was released today.

I think I will wait for WinMx 3.3 so they can fix all of the bugs.
