1994 ROYAL RUMBLE

1) Shawn Michaels defeated The 1-2-3 Kid (14:51). *** They had two matches on Raw, the 1st one went to a no contest and the 2nd went to a double count out. This is the rubber match.

2) WWF tag team champions The Quebecers defeated The Steiner Brothers (12:26). ** The Steiner won a non-title match on Superstars to earn a title shot here.

3) WWF Intercontinental champion Razor Ramon defeated Crush (10:36) after Randy Savage interfered. **¼ Ramon won the title the night after Survivor Series when Savage interfered and helped Ramon get the title.

4) WWF Champion Lex Luger defeated Randy Savage by submission (24:19) after Crush interfered. ***¾ Luger won the title from Bret Hart on an episode of Raw after Luger illegally used a chair while the referee was knocked unconscious.

5) Bret Hart won the 30-man Royal Rumble match (62:54) ***½ and earned a WWF title shot at WrestleMania X. Order of Elimination: Samu, Marty Jannetty, Virgil, Irwin R. 1) The Quebecers defeated WWF tag team champions The 1-2-3 Kid & Marty Jannetty (21:08) to regain the title.. **** Jannetty and The Kid won the titles from The Quebecers 1 week prior to this on WWF Raw.

2) Diesel defeated Curt Hennig (10:43). ** This match came about because Diesel interfered in the Hennig/Michaels feud.

3) The Smoking Gunns defeated Irwin R. Schyster & Bam Bam Bigelow (8:16). ¼* No real backstory here.

4) Randy Savage defeated Crush in a Falls-Count-Anywhere match (12:54). *** Crush turned on Randy Savage at the Survivor Series, and Savage wants revenge.

5) The Headshrinkers defeated Men on a Mission (7:30). * No real backstory here.

6) WWF Intercontinental champion Razor Ramon defeated Shawn Michaels in a Ladder match (26:28). ***** Michaels felt that he was the greatest Intercontinental champion of all-time and wanted a title shot.

7) Owen Hart defeated Adam Bomb (10:41). **½  Owen Hart turned heel the night after Royal Rumble. He was upset that his brother accidentally eliminated him from the Rumble match. He later defeated Bret in a ***** match on the March to WrestleMania special.

8) Tatanka defeated Ludvig Borga (9:05). ¾* Ludvig Borga attacked Tatanka months prior to this and they?ve been feuding ever since.

9) Yokozuna defeated The Undertaker in a Casket match (10:51) after 6 wrestlers interfered. ½* Every match between these two has had no winner declared. So Undertaker challenged him to a Casket match.

10) Bret Hart defeated WWF Champion Lex Luger by submission to regain the title (29:57). **** Luger won the title from Bret Hart on an episode of Raw in early-December after Luger illegally used a chair while the referee was knocked unconscious.

 

1994 KING OF THE RING

1) King of the Ring Tournament 1st Round: The 1-2-3 Kid defeated Jeff Jarrett (9:38). *** Shawn Michaels defeated Adam Bomb (6:13). *½ Razor Ramon defeated Bam Bam Bigelow (7:40). ¾* Diesel defeated Tatanka (4:27). ¼*

2) King of the Ring Tournament Semi-Finals: Shawn Michaels defeated The 1-2-3 Kid (12:52)**¾. Razor Ramon defeated Diesel (6:35) by disqualification. *¼

3) King of the Ring Tournament Finals: Razor Ramon defeated Shawn Michaels (14:17) to win the tournament. ***

4) WWF tag team champions The Headshrinkers defeated The Quebecers (8:42). * The Headshrinkers won the titles from The Quebecers on an episode of Raw, and the former champs wanted a rematch.

5) Yokozuna & Crush defeated Randy Savage & Lex Luger (12:49). *¾ Luger turned baby face after WrestleMania when he saved Savage from a 2 on 1 beat down from Yokozuna and Crush.

6) WWF Champion Bret Hart defeated Owen Hart (24:52) by disqualification after Jim Neidhart interfered. **** Owen Hart scored an upset victory over Bret on Raw 2 weeks prior to WrestleMania. He was later named the #1 Contender to the WWF title after Bret regained the championship.

 

SUMMERSLAM ?94

1) Jeff Jarrett defeated The 1-2-3 Kid (13:33) by submission. *** This is a rematch from the King of the Ring tournament.

2) WWF tag team champions The Headshrinkers defeated Bam Bam Bigelow & Irwin R. Schyster (9:45). ½*

3) Mr. Bob Backlund defeated Adam Bomb (6:09) by submission. * Bob Backlund turned heel in late-July after he lost a WWF title match to Bret Hart.

4) Razor Ramon defeated WWF Intercontinental champion Diesel (15:22) to regain the title. *** Diesel won the title on an episode of WWF Superstars in late-June.

5) Lex Luger defeated Yokozuna (10:37). *½ (The Undertaker returned to attack Yokozuna after the match)

6) Davey Boy Smith defeated Jim Neidhart (9:20). ** Davey Boy returned just after King of the Ring, and decided to get involve in the Hart Family Civil War.

7) WWF Champion Bret Hart defeated Owen Hart (38:53) in a Steel Cage match. ***** This is a rematch from King of the Ring, and the continuation of the Bret and Owen feud.

1) Shawn Michaels, Diesel, Jeff Jarrett & Crush defeated WWF Intercontinental champion Razor Ramon, The 1-2-3 Kid, Bob Holly & Aldo Montoya (24:51) in an Elimination match. *** (Diesel pinned Aldo Montoya. Diesel pinned Bob Holly. Razor Ramon pinned Crush. Jeff Jarrett pinned Razor Ramon. The 1-2-3 Kid pinned Jeff Jarrett. Shawn Michaels pinned The 1-2-3 Kid.)

2) Mr. Bob Backlund defeated Randy Savage (8:14). **

3) The Headshrinkers & The Smoking Gunns defeated The Heavenly Bodies & Jacob and Eli Blu (16:27). *¼ (The Headshrinkers and The Blu Twins were both counted out. The Smoking Gunns eliminated The Heavenly Bodies.)

4) The Undertaker defeated Yokozuna in a Casket match (15:05). *½ This is their rematch from WrestleMania.

5) Lex Luger, Adam Bomb & Men on a Mission defeated Tatanka, Bam Bam Bigelow, King Kong Bundy & Irwin R. Schyster (21:41) in an Elimination match. ***¼ (Bam Bam Bigelow defeated Mo.
