While there are types of music I don't like (Rap comes to mind) I won't go as far as to down what somebody else likes. Why? I've got wierd music tastes myself, and I wouldn't appreciate somebody downing what I like.

 

It's as simple as this. If you don't like it, then don't listen to it. Complaining about it just makes you a moron. And anybody wishing harm or death on another human being should just go to hell.

 

If it's a serious discussion, I can see where things would come up. It's allright to say why you don't like something if it's a meaningful thread. This wasn't. This was just more gross stupidity.

 

I don't know what it is..but this internet thing of hating anything that's mainstream is beginning to bother me. While I wouldn't personally listen to something like Avril, I'm mature enough not to go making "FUCK AVRIL" threads, and wishing rape and death on her.

Psycho: I know image is still important but look at the difference between the Beatles pop days and N'Sync......the Beatles were bubblegum to begin with, but it was STILL good music....N'Sync is just garbage, they found 5 guys in a nationwide search with minimal talent that could work their way around lip syncing.

I actually legit like her music. It's just fun to listen you- I couldn't give a fuck what genre it is- if it's good- I'll listen to it.

 

And I love Let's Go a lot and I play it all day. So yea- to me it doesn't matter if she's supposed to be punk, rock, ska, polka, classical- if the music is good, I'll listen
