Who wouldn't pay $100 to see Bin Laden get killed, with all proceeds going to victims families? I'd pay $200 for certain people, but I'm a pretty morbid dude. So don't take that as any indication as to whether it's right or wrong. As far as the death penalty goes, man, this is a huge can of worms I hate to open because I'm not sure exactly where I stand on the issue. On one hand, there are people who deserve to die, and I believe in that 100%, on the other, I don't believe the penalty is an effective deterrent for crime anymore, it costs more money than to keep someone incarcerated for life, and the appeals process drags things out to the bitter ends, just sensationalizing the entire thing. If they brought back hanging, I'd say go for it. Rope is a LOT cheaper than the electric chair or the doctor + chemicals used in modern executions.
