Guest NazMistry Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 The Nazis were GERMAN SOCIALISTS. For them that meant doing what was only for the benefit of the Aryan German Race. So they weren't actually socialists, it was simply a name to hide their real agenda.
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Ewww, two guys, mutual tongue. Get a room!
Guest MrRant Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 But wouldn't an American be and AMERICAN SOCIALIST? You can't be a Intercontiental Socialist can you?
Guest NazMistry Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 No The NAZIS were socialists for the benefit of White Germans. An American socialist if not racist would be for the benfit of all the different races in America.
Guest MrRant Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 I've never met a black german... honestly.
Guest MrRant Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 That lived in German in the 30's -40's?
Guest NazMistry Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 No. But the Nazis weren't very Socialist towards Jews, Muslims or non-German/Austrian born people.
Guest MrRant Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 I know. But when you said: The NAZIS were socialists for the benefit of White Germans. There was no one else to benefit outside of white guys lol
Guest NazMistry Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 I should have worded it better.
Guest Big McLargeHuge Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Big McLargeHuge - He likes HHH (!!) Just to move the discussion away from Nazis and Socialism: I am HHH. *makes an angry face*
Guest NazMistry Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Big McLargeHuge - He likes HHH (!!) Just to move the discussion away from Nazis and Socialism: I am HHH. *makes an angry face* Runs away scared! Naz-'AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! IT"S TRIPLE H!'
Guest RazorxEDGE Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 This should be moved to Politics.
Guest Vern Gagne Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Personally I never saw much of a difference between Communism and Nazism. Both parties where dictatorships and killed any oppostition. Marx and Engels might of had some utopian fantasty about what Communism was going to be. But when you give one man all the power it ends up being a dictatorship. Capitalism Rules by the way.
Guest Dames Edna Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Capitalism is a fine way of ruling society, but I have a trouble with the fact large businesses always buy out smaller businesses because they have more money - thus increasing their enormous wealth and shortchanging someone working just as hard as them. But, I do not agree with people not working for their money. If you are a doctor, you make a doctor's wage and you keep it. If decided not to go to school and work at subway - you earn that wage and get nothing more.
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Fascism and Communism are almost identical in authoritarian tendencies. The difference is in economic policies. Check out the Political Compass. (I'm in Milton Friedman's quadrant. Economic Left/Right: 4.50, Authoritarian/Libertarian: -3.64)
Guest Kotzenjunge Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 (this is one of those "Most (insert adjective) posters" discussions I'm glad I'm not a part of) Fo sheez, Kotzenjunge
Guest Incandenza Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 According to the Political Compass, I'm Economic Left/Right: -5.00 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -6.15.
Guest Cancer Marney Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Squarely in the radical anarchist camp. Huh.
Guest LooseCannon Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 My score Economic Left/Right: -0.25 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.62
Guest bob_barron Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 According to the Political Compass, I'm Economic Left/Right: -5.00 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -6.15. 2.50 1.23 I didn't understand some of the questions though but what does that score mean?
Guest Incandenza Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Lemme say this: I'm probably the most meek leftist you'll ever find. I have my beliefs, I stand by them, but I'm not terribly fond of arguing about them (which is why I don't go into Current Events).
Guest J*ingus Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Hmmm, it gave me this: Economic Left/Right: -2.50 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -3.59 I'm apparently some sort of bizarre cross between an anarchist and a communist. Ya learn something new every day.
Guest ArkhamGlobe Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 My score: Economic Left/Right: -3.12 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.97
Guest MrRant Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Economic Left/Right: 1.88 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -1.08 Of course I'm one square away from Facism.
Guest NazMistry Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 My Results: Economic Left/Right: -4.25 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -4.97 I'm slightly more Libertarian than Gandhi, but slightly less Economically Left than Gandhi.
Guest Incandenza Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 The Political Compass has made me realize I'm not living up to my apparently far leftist potential. I should be distributing leaflets or something.
Guest evenflowDDT Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Hey Inc... I don't really outwardly defend my beliefs either usually, hence why I don't usually go into Current Events. Which is probably why I disagree that Marney is controversial... how so? That must be just in the Current Events folder, because she seems like a nice enough person to me. PS: Taking the test now... will I comprehend any of the questions? Will I make the next round of controversial posters with more weak attempts at being a troll? Is Punk Princess a necrophiliac as well? Who knows... and, uhh... who cares?
Guest Kingpk Posted September 4, 2002 Report Posted September 4, 2002 Me? Economic Left/Right: -0.62 Authoritarian/Libertarian: -2.00 I always thought I was more right-wing, but I'm pretty much smack dab in the center. Sounds about right.
