Guest Vitamin X Report post Posted September 4, 2002 First off, I'd like to start off by saying that yes, despite everything, I am still a RAW fan, much mroe than a Smackdown fan. Why that is, I'm not entirely sure, but RAW to me is just more entertaining than Smackdown!. Yeah RAW has it's crappy points, but well... I thought it would be a good idea to sit down and actually analyze (and probably over-analyze) the good and bad points of each show, as I'm kinda determined in a way to bring back the RAW fans, as I absolutely HATE watching Smackdown! (spoilers are good enough for me)... Here we go... ROSTERS Main Event RAW: HHH, RVD, Chris Jericho, Booker T, Kane, Shawn Michaels Smackdown: Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Brock Lesnar, Edge, Hulk Hogan, The Rock (part-time) RAW has the more over guys, but Smackdown has the more talented bunch with Angle/Benoit/Guerrero. HHH and Taker both suck, but out of the two, I'd rather take a motivated HHH (and one that doesn't take up 90% of the show) than any kind of Undertaker, anytime. Pretty close here. X's call: DRAW Tag Teams X's call: Tag Team Division is worthless anyways Women RAW: Trish, Molly, Stacy, Terri Runnels, Jazz, Lita (remember her?!) Smackdown: Torrie, Nidia, Dawn Marie X's call: Eye candy wise, Smackdown. Wrestling, RAW. But who cares about women's wrestling anyways (tm Bischoff)? Advantage Smackdown. Curtain Jerkers/Jobbers/Held Down/Directionless RAW: Chris Nowinski, Bubba Ray Dudley, Test, Big Show, Jeff Hardy, Spike Dudley, Tommy Dreamer, Steven Richards, William Regal Smackdown: Deacon Bautistia, Reverend D-Von, Rikishi, Mark Henry, Billy/Chuck, John Cena, Randy Orton Here's a lot of crap to go through.. Let's see... process of elimination.. starting with Smackdown...Bautista, thank but no thanks, D-Von no, Rikishi and Hewnry HELL no, Billy/Chuck, from what I've heard on the spoiler sweet jesus no, Cena might have potential and so may Orton. 2 for Smackdown. Now, Raw. Nowinski~! rocks, Dudley and Test suck, as does Big Show and Spike...Jeff Hardy can put on some entertaining spotfests from time to time, we'll give him that, Dreamer's getting a little bit of heat now, and Richards isn't really going anywhere (sad to see after his major heel RTC days), and we all know Regal is awesome. X's call: RAW wins, 4-2. They've always had a more entertaining and interesting lower card though, than Smackdown. ANGLES/FEUDS RAW: Nowinski "deflowering" Molly, HHH vs. RVD, Y2J vs. Flair, Eric Bischoff and The Three Minute Warning, and as always a pointless Sportz Entertainment segment (like this week's Stacy vs. Terri debacle) Smackdown: Angle vs. Benoit, Taker vs. Lesnar, Billy/Chuck, "Mattitude", Stephanie McMahon being bitchy to everyone for no reason. Guest Brian Report post Posted September 4, 2002 What about Shannon Moore and Jaime "By God" Knoble? What about D'Von and Bautista? T's not even close to being a mian eventer, as much as most of us would like to think of him as that. Shawn as useful as Rock almost. And Kane just got back. Plus HHH. edge SmackDown.
