Well, here is a recommended reading list of books written by leftists.

While I'm sure it was unintentional, it was also very accurate that such a list ended up being empty.

As far as the vote count in Florida. Of course Bush won the recounts because the DISPUTED votes, were NEVER counted. They just kept recounting the same ballots. The whole dispute was the fact that several thousand votes were thrown out and discarded somehow. Quite frankly, I didn't really care whether Bush or Gore won because anyone with common sense can see how they are both equally horrible.....I don't think a damn thing would be different RIGHT NOW in the news if Gore was president. Those Corporate mongrels that call themselves democrats and republicans are losing the trust of more american people everyday, and DESERVINGLY so.....The problem here is that they have your average citizen duped into thinking they are as good as it gets.

 

As far as the radio show Michael Savage. I used to get into it back in the day even though I detest his political beliefs, but now it is just getting very tiring of hearing, "my gawd I hate liberals, please god lets just send the liberals to the middle east, Why are liberals so horrible" Michael Savage is the kind of guy who thinks because a liberal wants to keep porn legal, that next year they will want to legalize child porn.....What is wrong with guys like that!?!

Whenever I've heard him he's just way to over the top. Last week he went from criticizing liberals, to acting like one, when he said it was terrible that arab men are being held unfairly by the gov't. Than he started whining about Iraq. Something about it seemed like an act.

Thats part of his spiel. I've listened to shows that he only allows liberals to call in. Then there are shows where he will take the liberal side of an argument. Its a well done show.

Generally speaking, when there was a vote card tossed, it was because there was more than one hole punched in the card or it was disputable of what was the intent of that voter was. I would probably say that was the case in a good 95% of those cards. I think at the beginning when they were trying to toss cards based on a hanging chad, that vote should of counted and was counted, the intent and will of that vote and its voter was/is there.

There actually are some people that think that some ballots were actually NOT counted as in "not even looked at." Not counted means, they were not valid, they were not used in a correct manner and thus were not counted towards the official total of CORRECT votes.

 

Heh, actually, the only votes that fall under the category of "not counted" were a lot of the overseas armed service ballots that didn't officially arrive back to the U.S in time.

How in the living FUCK did they (the voters) screw up the ballot cards? There were arrows POINTING to the fucking holes, for Christ's sake! If you had a problem, ASK SOMEONE FOR HELP!

Well, if there's one thing Kentucky does right, it's voting. There's a system set up in such a fashion that you pretty much can't tamper with it. To do so cancels the vote you mess with.

 

You walk into the voting booth, you look at the names and you flip a lever next to who you vote for. There's a big-ass "RESET" button if you screw up.

Well duh! It's been an empire since the North stop the South leaving and the whole Civil War and its been a colonial empire at least since the Spainish-American war 1882 and if not then then in 1919 when America was was given a de facto mandate over Latin America in the Treaty of Versialle.

 

No all I have to ask is how does America being an empire change a damn thing?
