Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted February 28, 2002 ALRIGHT!!!!! A Cap fan! We dont' have too many of those. ; )
Guest VisionNick Report post Posted February 28, 2002 Cap has always been my favorite. I started reading Cap around issue #300, and I have 99% of Gruenwald's run. He wrote some great, great stuff, like the Flag-Smasher arc around issue 320, the John Walker story arc, the BloodStone Hunt, and Streets of Poison to name a few. But of course you know that, and better than me I'm sure. BTW, my 2nd favorite hero has always been Iron Man, and I LOVE the run from 200-250. Great stuff...... Sassquatch, I just want to let you know that I think that you wrote some great stuff when you described all the great story arcs from the 80's as compared to the 90's. Jim Shooter was the man! Guest Sassquatch Report post Posted February 28, 2002 Br...Br...Brother? WOW! Thank you very much for the nice compliments Nick. Next to Cap, Iron Man is my next favorite hero. Shooter was the man and I was pissed when DeFucko replaced him. Tom busted Marvel open. Bob Harras just picked at the cut until the cut was infected and needed to be amputated. Quesada might be a douche bag, but at least he has the drive to succeed and not masturbate to Spidey and the X-Men like Tom and Bob did.
