There is only one title that I consider to be of importance in the WWE...and Brock is holding it.

 

So now...RVD is even farther away from where he belongs.

Is it ironic? Even if HHH does lay down clean to put RVD over (uh huh), they have found a way to tarnish it by giving him a meaningless belt.

The bps plan for improvement has yet to reach step one:

 

Fire Taker and HHH.

 

Funny how the title picture never changes...even when there are two of them.

 

Only HHH could make a clean RVD win make people feel like they are at a funeral and not a party.

and the only way the angle could be redeemed is if the long term goal (yeah right) is to have rvd unify the belts and get his revenge on brock. i don't see it but for all of my cynicism i can still hope, wish, and pray

As far as I'm concerned...

 

RVD is already holding the RAW title.

 

Not only did he win a match to earn it...it has a lineage and he merged it with the other singles titles on RAW.

 

That Raw world title is a slap in the face.

Exactly. RVD has 4 titles in one right now. His belt means more than HHH's ever will. I'm praying that's the storyline they're going with. RVD feels it's a slap in the face. He held up the two titles at the end of RAW as if to say to the crowd which one of these is the real RAW title.

If RVD unifies the IC and world that would make sense, but they shouldn't have him unify both world titles. The split has to be a real split.

i have to disagree brian. the split is a horrible idea and the contrived second world title is an even worse idea. the split doesn't have to be a real split because it's not a real split! does anyone see the failed logic in each brand putting the other down. how does that make me or anyone else want to buy a ticket? it's cutting off your nose to spite your face. they encountered the same problem during the invasion. why are you putting down a product that you own? pimp the hell out of it and maybe, just maybe, people will be excited again!

I didn't watch RAW this week, and it seems that won't change in the near future. I'm VERY glad when I see that I'm not the only one. That's the first time I've ever seen a rating where the second hour actually decreased from the first. I'm not being a dick when missing the shows either, but the combination of RAW is Hunter, a belt that in my book means nothing, Bradshaw in general, Jeff Hardy in general, dumb T&A sessions and Lawler's stupidity is just too unappealing for me to care, especially now that I've started school and have more on my agenda every night than "watch RAW". I can't be bothered anymore to watch a show that constantly dissapoints me.

I don't want the WWE to do bad, but I will not shed a tear if the next few Raw's do shit ratings. I really hope Smackdown stays constant but Raw goes down. HHH is not the answer. The fans have spoken. Hell, they spoke by not ordering the damn PPV's. Lets see, Rock vs. Hogan does huge buyrate. HHH vs. Hogan does low buyrate. HHH vs. Taker does low buyrate. HHH becomes new Raw champ. Rating goes down instantly.

 

What will it take? I don't think RVD is the end all here, but it would make the show seem 1,000 times fresher to have RVD be champ than THE GAME-UH.
