Not that I'm defending these idiots or anything...

 

But doesn't "no holds barred" mean "NO HOLDS BARRED"?

 

It seems like every day somebody is getting banned for something that they posted in NHB.

 

Maybe we should change it to the No Holds Barred Unless The Moderators Don't Like It In Which Case You Will Be Banned Forum.

 

It'd be like advertising a match as "no holds barred, anything goes", and then Earl Hebner disqualifies someone for pissing him off.

Most of the recently banned were posters who were banned for prior offenses, but somehow found their way back (a guy who originally went under the name of Smarkzone is an example of this). People like Perfect-plex, however, were banned for abusing the board's email/pm system to flame someone after being warned for a prior offense.

Other than that, being a worthless "secret identity" gimmick of another poster is good for automatic deletion of the extra account (case-by-case basis on this one, but Guy Strokes was at least an attempt at entertainment; something like "HossesRule" talking about how much Benoit sucks is not).

Most people banned are not banned for flaming in the NHB folder. They've either flamed outside it or have been banned before and were trying to sneak back on.

I thought that pretending to be a user from the Avril board would be funny. I was thinking of coming back as my iLuVaPRiLLoLZ character from the board invasion, but then I thought if I came back as Punk Princess maybe it'd be funny or she could stir up something that was funny. Unfortunately, I'm Untalented Mr. Robins, and I forgot to change any of my posting mannerisms. Whoops!

 

They caught onto the sunglasses/"cool" guy really quick. The funny thing is, I've been doing that for so long (since I first joined the In Crowd) that I always do that, automatically and subconsciously on every Ikonboard/Invisionboard. Heh.

 

Plus I felt kinda bad when the Avril board died after we invaded, even though I don't think its because of our invasion now, and since their server upgrade they seem to be doing fine (I haven't re-regged on their board so I wouldn't know).

Eh, I'm dial-up anyway, so my IP changes every time I disconnect and log on, so unless they banned the entire "group" of IP's for my Juno web only Punk Princess would've been banned, not evenflowDDT (I think; if I was really smart I would've just not bothered posting as evenflowDDT at all during those days just to be sure).

 

I don't think Punk Princess would've gotten banned anyway. Incandenza was right when he said I'm the gentlest soul on this board; even under a different identity I couldn't bring myself to say anything truly bad or anything that'd get me banned anyway (I actually had to physically refrain from apologizing in advance for swearing like I usually do... haha). Besides, everyone needs to let their feminine side take control every once in a while...
