Guest swan Report post Posted September 5, 2002 http://www.blistering.com/news/newsdet.php3?ID=3590 Thankfully unlike the Kiss farewell tour this one won't last long. I still dig the older Crue shit even though it goes against my metal beliefs. But since the late 80's nothing but a down hill ride. Recently Vince has become an idoit. See ya later. Wonder who will drum for this. Randy is dead and Tommy Lee is stumbling through half filled clubs in support of his solo (Bullshit) career. God you know what, I guess I really don't care. Metal Ed 0 Report post Posted September 5, 2002 Aw, man. The Crue was so awesome, too. Dr. Feelgood was playing in my Trans Am the night I became a man. I still got a bunch of their shirts, too. Guest converge241 Report post Posted September 5, 2002 they were never as good after Girls ((i hated feelgood)) but then they really kiled themselves with the s/t album Motley Corabi Nikkis making money hand over fist from publishing. hes writing songs for everybody - elton john, NSync, Meat Loaf and tons others. even if they never record them they still pay him for the rights so hes all set
Guest pochorenella Report post Posted September 5, 2002 they were never as good after Girls ((i hated feelgood)) but then they really kiled themselves with the s/t album Motley Corabi My sentiments exactly. I like "Dr. Feelgood" and "Kickstart My Heart" but that was about it from that album. My favorite Crue CD is Shout At The Devil. That was some awesome stuff. Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Who is Metal Ed? This guy is the best gimmick poster ever. What makes you think he's a gimmick poster? Anyway, the man's got some pretty good tastes, and he's got a freakin' Rock Box... as for the Crue... well, I'm surprised they made it this far, to be honest. I haven't been digging them for a while. Their '80s stuff still rules though.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Who is Metal Ed? This guy is the best gimmick poster ever. i'm thinking it is kinetic. they both use a dial up and oddly enough, have yet to appear on the board at the same time. hmmmm. as for the crue, who gives a shit? they ceased to be relevant over a decade ago. Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted September 6, 2002 I agree with goodhelmet on this one. They just became such an embarrassment in the last few years, what with Vince's home video, and Tommy's "solo career". The worst of all is that, with a lot of these hair metal bands, they seem to think that they are still relevant today. They think that they wrote good songs. Some were, don't get me wrong, but if you listen to it now, it's so cheesy and over the top, it's sickening. Motley Crue? Good fucking Riddance

Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Vince Neil's only hope to stay popular, is to start marketing his home video/porn with Janine Mullinlinder~!
Guest Redhawk Report post Posted September 6, 2002 The best thing Motley Crue has produced in the last five years is...Andrew Martin, aka TEST. Think about that for minute.

Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted September 8, 2002 Motley Crue was always my favorite band. I just found a paper I wrote from 10th grade about how Motley Crue's song Louder Than Hell reflects American Culture. It's the funniest thing I've ever read. That being said I really think the farewell tour should've happened about 5 years ago. They haven't put out anything new in ages although I love what they had done in the past.
