LaParkaYourCar Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 yeah but wouldn't it be kinda stupid for HBK to be walking that soon?
Guest Dangerous A Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 In real life, yes. But in WWE world, it's OK.
LaParkaYourCar Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 I wouldn't say it's okay. That would be just way too rediculous for me. It would rank right up there with HHH no-selling death...or pretty close to it atleast.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 HHH was back two weeks after dying!
Guest MrRant Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 But he's the Game. Makes sense to me.
Guest Anglesault Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Next time he dies, I'll get to use my "Game Over" joke, though, right?
Guest MrRant Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 I think "The Game has been Reset" would be more appropriate (sp).
Guest Brian Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 I assume HBK is at ringside to watch the match, and gets up out of his chair enough to nail HHH with the sledgehammer so RVD can hit the five star and unify the IC and World titles.
Guest cabbageboy Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 The more and more I've thought about this, the less sense it makes to job out RVD at this PPV. Consider for a moment that Lesnar is likely beating UT, so if RVD also jobs that would be having the last two matches end with heels winning. I'm figuring HHH will beat RVD before the PPV in some fashion (tag match, 6 man, etc.) or perhaps cost him the IC title. That is the key, if RVD jobs the IC to someone in the next two weeks he is going to win the title from HHH.

If people bitch about that, then they probably shouldn't watch wrestling in the first place and maybe Disney cartoons are more their speed.
Guest nikowwf Posted September 8, 2002 Report Posted September 8, 2002 It doesnt make sense not cause it would make the crowd unhappy, but because it would make 2 shows with heel champions and faces hopelessly chasing them. Both shows should have a somewhat different feel. Niko
Guest AlwaysPissedOff Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 Hopelessly? Maybe in Brock's case with the Taker feud, but RVD is seen as a credible challenger to Trips(whether I like it or not) and saving the big win for a month won't hurt anybody. It just means that the buyrate for the PPV will be better because people will KNOW Rob has to win the title that night. This may sound optimistic as hell, but fuck it, I could care less.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted September 9, 2002 Report Posted September 9, 2002 As long as HHH cheats to win....I have no issue with it. It isn't like HHH has anyone else on the RAW roster to challenge him, unless they ruch HBK back in, which I don't beleive they will. But if HHH goes over clean...that's wrong. He's a heel, and although he won all the blowoffs last time as a heel... this would just be wrong.
