Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Since I'm at college and can't watch WWE due to not having UPN or cable in the dorm, I figured i'd whet my indy appetite. RoH is too damned expensive as far as tapes go, so I'd figure I'd check out CZW. Any recommendations on what shows to get? I'm more a fan of junior, X-Division style stuff and tag wrestling. I've already decided on getting a Best of the Best tournament, which is better, 1 or 2? I'd also like to see some good Messiah or Justice Pain matches, but not too much of that ultraviolent deathmatch crap. (My apologies to the people who like it, different strokes for different folks and all that.) Recommendations would be great, any time frame is fine. I'm going to buy from SMARTMARK VIDEO~! I would also avoid Tournament of Death at all costs, then. So, if I had to recommend a couple. BOTB2 This Time It's Personal (Nick Mondo vs Messiah, Justice Pain vs. Nick Gage. You won't like Zandig vs. Lobo) Answering The Challenge (Pain vs. Messiah) Cage of Death 3 (Not the usual ultraviolence from CZW, more like souped-up ECW action, but not glass and stuff. Also, an excellent match between SAT and Divine Storm/BrianXL) And mad props to SmartMark. I'm ordering from them next week, once I can get some money into my checking account to waste on wrestling. Probably get both BOTB as they do stand out, I would also add: Process of Elimination (First appearence of M-Dogg20, and some good junior action) CZW:Take One (full card from the first TV tapings, excellent six man with the SAT's versus Divine/Storm/Brian XL) I would also seek out some PWF (Steve Corino's fed), they feature people like SAT's. Guest gangsteruwa Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Cage of Death 3 amazing and is the biggest show CZW ever had. SAT vs. Divine Storm and Brian XL is awesome. This was the first CZW tape (well tapes, as the show is about 5 hours long) and I was very pleased. Best of the Best 1 and 2 awesome shows. I liked the first better, but the second one has two amazing matches with Super Dragon vs. BBoy and Jody Fleisch vs. Johnny Storm. The first has the highly acclaimed Briscoe vs. Briscoe match. Process of Elimination This is probably the most underated show for CZW this year. It had some really strong wrestling and I suggest anyone wanting to see CZW, get it. I'm a CZW mark, so I basically like every show. The only stuff that I don't like is when they have Deathmatches and don't use psychology.
