Guest poopsicle316 Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 During the first half of the WWA PPV (no, it was not worth the money as of now), Tenzan and his mullet was distinctly visible behind the commentary table. As Scott Steiner attacked Disco Inferno, Tenzan stood up and pushed Disqo into the washed-up roid-head. Then he left. Quite noteworthy indeed.
Guest goodhelmet Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 After watching the PPV, it is a good thing Tenzan did not waste his effort or time on such a lacklustre show. The show blew and Tenzan would be better served if he stuck to New Japan.
Guest TheDames7 Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 To me, the guy that shoved Disqo into Steiner was Vampire Warrior, aka Gangrel. He worked at the last WWA PPV. Dames
Guest poopsicle316 Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 That's cool. But to everyone else in the world, it was Tenzan. He works New Japan.
Guest Sykotic2002 Posted February 25, 2002 Report Posted February 25, 2002 They didn't even acknowledge him being there. He was clearly visable, but mention.
Guest J*ingus Posted February 26, 2002 Report Posted February 26, 2002 Yeah, I saw him too. What was he doing there? Looking for work in the U.S., or scouting new gaijin talent for NJPW maybe? And dames, Gangrel? What were you smoking? It was clearly a Japanese guy, even if you didn't recognize him.
Guest Luke Argyle Posted February 26, 2002 Report Posted February 26, 2002 The word was that he was going to the states to train with Inoki, probably for an upcoming shoot match or something as equally asinine.
Guest poopsicle316 Posted February 26, 2002 Report Posted February 26, 2002 Actually, Zach Arnold is reporting that the two of them will be teaming up on the next NJPW tour. If it goes well, they will continue to team. If not, Steiner will supposedly retire. For some reason, I see the latter taking place...
Guest BlackRainbow1025 Posted February 28, 2002 Report Posted February 28, 2002 Him being in America was for some angle where he went to get help to beat Yasuda. It's all on Stuart's main page, here's the link if you don't know: http://www.puroresufan.com/njpw/
Guest TheDames7 Posted March 1, 2002 Report Posted March 1, 2002 Yeah, I saw him too. What was he doing there? Looking for work in the U.S., or scouting new gaijin talent for NJPW maybe? And dames, Gangrel? What were you smoking? It was clearly a Japanese guy, even if you didn't recognize him. Upon a second look....I realized how much of an ass I made out of myself. Did look him for a half a sec first time I saw it though. Dames
