Guest The_BiG_C Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 Look for: The WWF as we know it on a media finder like KaZaA or something. It's a music video starting from the very begining of the WWF until the very end, right before it was dubbed, WWE... Basically when it all REALLY went to hell.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted September 6, 2002 Report Posted September 6, 2002 Is it that video with the Kid Rock song? I have that...
Guest Eagan469 Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Yeah, it's most likely the "WWF Desire" video using Kid Rock's "Lonely Road Of Faith". It aired on RAW the night after team-WWF won at Survivor Series 2001.
Guest bob_barron Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 No it didn't. It aired on January 28th when Flair was trying to convince Vince not to bring back the nWo
Guest mister foozel Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Why do people keep making excuses for how bad WWE is doing? So it was "pre-empted", who gives a sex? Seriously, people need to realize that pro wrestling doesn't interest people like it used to. Man, I don't even watch it like I used to. It's not as interesting and fresh as it was before, in this day in age it's not the big thing anymore. NO MORE EXCUSES! THATS THE WAY IT IS. I just had to get that out.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Although this verges on the edges of Fantasy Booking, I wish they made it for the night after Survivor Series, played it for a couple weeks, and then introduced the NWO through the "hijacked" video. Would have been much better than Vince given himself mental orgasms while talking like a madman into a mirror.

Yeah none of that made sense until the end, but then you've got to ask yourself why isn't it as interesting or fresh anymore? It's because of all these "excuses" we've been giving.
Guest The Electrifyer Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Just to clarify, I downloaded the video, and it isn't the Kid Rock video that Flair showed. Its a different one thats not bad, but not the greatest I've ever seen.
Guest The Metal Maniac Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 It is a different video, it just happens to contain a number of clips from the History video, and some of the Desire videos. It's set to Puddle of Mudd's "Blurry". I enjoy it. But hey, you may as well go all out, and find the Bret Hart Desire video. Awesome stuff.
Guest godthedog Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 eh...the bret video was a tad underwhelming. very well done, but i think it could've been a lot better. if i had the patience to sift through all my bret footage, i think i could've made a better one; i'd probably keep the essential structure the same, but make a lot of changes in key places. like, show the superplex from summerslam 94 on "above the others, we'll fly" instead of the generic elbow, & show bret hugging benoit and pointing upwards at the owen tribute match on "this brings tears to my eyes." just a lot of little stuff that could've been better.

It's a hell of a download, but definitely worth the quality. History of the WWF Video= Best thing to come out of the nWo angle.
Guest bob_barron Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 What did you search to find that one braves fan?
Guest bravesfan Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 Just search under "WWF Hist- Kid Rock- Desire" and find a video that's longer than 4:00 in length. Mines is around 6:25 and includes that whole intro by Flair.
Guest Ravenbomb Posted September 7, 2002 Report Posted September 7, 2002 I just searched for Desire on KaZaA under the Video Only search.
Guest The_BiG_C Posted September 13, 2002 Report Posted September 13, 2002 It's not the Kid Rock package. That one's good to but this one's slightly longer and IMHO alot better. I watched it a bunch of times. Some KaZaA user made it when WWF changed to WWE and, of course, contains footage from the beginning of WWF to that wretched day. Very well made. I always knew pandas were evil... DAMN YOU! DAMN YOU TO HELL!
