WWE Smackdown finished with a 3.2 rating and a 5 share this week. That number is up from the 3.1 the show did last week. It should also be noted that the show was pre-empted in many major markets including New York.

Yesterday was football, some have been baseball. Fall season starts so they have to worry about Monday Night football and then Survivor on Thursdays.

RAW is going to get it's ass kicked on Monday, I think. I know I'm not gonna watch.

 

My prediction: 3.1, with the QH sinking as the show goes on and people switching to football.

I won't be watching Raw either, maybe during half time. Monday Night Football could be pulling some huge ratings, not only being the first of the season, but also a rematch of the AFC championship featuring the Superbowl champions. I'd watch even if I wasn't such a big Stillers fan.

I remember when Thunder was on Wednesday nights a lot of the time. If they put it on Wed. nights then they'd go up against NWA:TNA....of course then you're comparing free vs. $10.....hey maybe that will make TNA decide to push harder for a TV deal so they can compete.

I'll definitely be watching Pats-Steelers. I think Raw ratings will be go really down this week. It seems even more people are into football this year, and there's a stellar matchup. It's a given there will be nothing worth watching on Raw, unless you're a HHH mark.

It's been pre-empted in NY for three weeks due to both Giants and Jets preseason games and the Giants-49ers game last night. However, that was the last Thursday regular season game for the Giants and the Jets have none.

Why are we talking about Ratings on a weekly basis? They're irrelevant. You have to look at 3 month periods (at least) to ever be able to make an 'educated' analysis.
