Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted September 6, 2002 WWE Smackdown finished with a 3.2 rating and a 5 share this week. That number is up from the 3.1 the show did last week. It should also be noted that the show was pre-empted in many major markets including New York. credit 411wrestling.com
Guest Will Scarlet Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Well...I hope this does not mean the WWF will take it as a sign to put on more of the crap that they had put on this week.

Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Why has Smackdown been preempted in major markets like 4 weeks in a row?
Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Why has Smackdown been preempted in major markets like 4 weeks in a row? Yesterday was football, some have been baseball. Fall season starts so they have to worry about Monday Night football and then Survivor on Thursdays.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted September 6, 2002 RAW is going to get it's ass kicked on Monday, I think. I know I'm not gonna watch. My prediction: 3.1, with the QH sinking as the show goes on and people switching to football.
Guest jimmy no nose Report post Posted September 6, 2002 I won't be watching Raw either, maybe during half time. Monday Night Football could be pulling some huge ratings, not only being the first of the season, but also a rematch of the AFC championship featuring the Superbowl champions. I'd watch even if I wasn't such a big Stillers fan.
Guest RicFlairGlory Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Wow we got Squeelers fans on this board? ::laughs:: Kordell Stewart is the biggest Choke Artist since the Red Sox

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted September 6, 2002 Smackdown moves to Wednesday or Friday night in 5..4..3..
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2002 I remember when Thunder was on Wednesday nights a lot of the time. If they put it on Wed. nights then they'd go up against NWA:TNA....of course then you're comparing free vs. $10.....hey maybe that will make TNA decide to push harder for a TV deal so they can compete. Guest Leena Report post Posted September 7, 2002 I'll definitely be watching Pats-Steelers. I think Raw ratings will be go really down this week. It seems even more people are into football this year, and there's a stellar matchup. It's a given there will be nothing worth watching on Raw, unless you're a HHH mark. Guest DerangedHermit Report post Posted September 7, 2002 It's been pre-empted in NY for three weeks due to both Giants and Jets preseason games and the Giants-49ers game last night. However, that was the last Thursday regular season game for the Giants and the Jets have none.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Why are we talking about Ratings on a weekly basis? They're irrelevant. You have to look at 3 month periods (at least) to ever be able to make an 'educated' analysis.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 7, 2002 If this rating proves anything, it's that the fans LOVE the boring world champion so much that they can't be bothered to watch his show! You Go, Brock! No, really, I mean it. Go. Leave. Now.
Guest RazorxEDGE Report post Posted September 7, 2002 I guess you missed the "pre-empted in major markets" part, buddy.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 7, 2002 And...? I live in major market and I watched the show (Save the Lesnar segment) last week. If you WANT to watch, you can. I FORGOT about Smackdown until like 9:45 this week. That tell you anything?
Guest RazorxEDGE Report post Posted September 7, 2002 If you WANT to watch, you can Uh...no, I can't. It was pre-empted in New Jersey and I can't watch it until this Saturday at 8. Open mouth, insert foot...or gun.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted September 7, 2002 So I just IMAGINED watching Smackdown last Thursday night in NY? You'd be shocked how many people around here opted to get a satelite Dish. You can get UPN from all over the country.
Guest RazorxEDGE Report post Posted September 7, 2002 Not everyone has a dish, asshole. Especially people with NIELSEN BOXES.
Guest alfdogg Report post Posted September 7, 2002 This may be Nezbyte too, as he seems to have taken to post-stalking AS.
Guest creativename Report post Posted September 8, 2002 This may be Nezbyte too, as he seems to have taken to post-stalking AS. Maybe, but I don't think so. Nezbyte's posts never made any damn sense and were generally limited to anti-smarkism and HHH-verbal d*ck sucking. Razorx' posts, on the other hand, are right on the money.
